This beautiful and spacious apartment has a kitchenette, stocked for eating in, with a sink, refrigerator and a microwave. It has a private full bathroom, queen bed and comfy furniture. Additional amenities include an outdoor patio, a gas grill and spa room with sauna. It's a lovely space for couples.
An omelet breakfast, served in the historic ice house, is free to guests who stay two nights.

We had a wonderful stay at Oreo's Hide Away, a charming and well-kept studio apartment. From start to finish, the property manager was incredibly responsive and checked in throughout our weekend to ensure everything was going smoothly.The apartment itself was spotless, modern, and thoughtfully updated. Our suite was an easy place to relax. Comfortable, nicely decorated, just enough kitchen for our needs. Sitting out on the veranda was pleasant but for the traffic noise from the street below. We’d stay there again.

Wonderful place to stay in Galena!

I stayed at this property the weekend of Independence Day 2025 and couldn't have been happier. The apartment itself was charming and completely stocked with anything you could need, it was secure, and it was also within walking distance of Main Street and the Piggly Wiggly. The best part, though, was breakfast on Sunday morning in the picturesque stone vault in the Artist Annex, where beer used to be brewed in the 1800s. Owners Sandy and Charlie set the table with flowers and lit candles, giving the room a romantic ambiance, and provided both a delicious breakfast and excellent company. Also, as a side note, Charlie is a prolific artist who has created much of the art that can be found on the premises. I highly recommend!
