Property was very nice, clean and staff were generally polite. We did not eat at the Irish pub but did listen to the music for a bit. Suprised no Irish music just pop favorites.

Everything went well. The Irish pub happened to be closed, as it was a Monday. The place could reduce its carbon footprint by raising the air conditioner setting in the lounge to a level that is not so cold.

My mom, sister and my self come to Galena every year for an annual girls gateway and every year stay at the Irish Cottage! It’s the perfect spot, staff is amazing, and feels like a home away from home.

Great stay

Great stay. Enjoyed the tea time, sitting in the quiet library, and taking a hike on the trail behind the property. The beds were very comfortable too.

Staff was nice in person but very misleading on Expedia and not willing to work with us on a room discrepancy for my wife and I's 10 year anniversary. Decent place, just don't book through Expedia because the hotel will essentially put you in whatever room they want that's the lower value.

The Irish Cottage is like a home away from home. I must admit the new de or isn't to my liking. I preferred the slightly "dusty" appearance and the leather library couches. But it is a lovely place and I will go back.

Nice place, Resort Fee is a little much and surprising. Additional charge for a pool that we didn't even use. Only clean your room if you request it. Need to go each day for new towels and carry them up.

The Shuttle Is the Best!!

This was my third time staying here and as always I absolutely loved it. The main reason we always stay here is because of the shuttle. Brian drives the shuttle on the weekend and he is an absolutely great guy! He is kind, courteous, and respectful. You call him in the hotle cell phone and he picks you up within 5 minutes and takes you where you need to go. I've gone twice on girls trips and my husband insists that I stay here because of Brian. The hotel is great, the beds are comfortable, and breakfast is ok. The shuttle makes it the best!
