Beautiful 3 bedroom 3 bath Golf Course View home.

This immaculate free standing 3 bedroom 3 bathroom home is centrally located within the Galena Resort core just across the street from the limited access Walnut Hill heated swimming pool.

This beautiful Galena, Illinois vacation rental home has over 1800 sq. ft. of single level living space overlooking the 15th fairway of the North golf course in the Galena Territory, just minutes from downtown Galena Illinois.

It boasts a large deck with Weber grill and screened porch, perfect for your private meals in relaxed setting. This tastefully decorated home offers lots of natural sunlight and fantastic views from large windows.

The Master Suite Features: king bed, a private bath with separate tub and shower. 50" Smart TV.

The Second Bedroom Features: king bed, a private bath with a shower/tub combination and Smart TV.

The Third Bedroom Features: Set of rustic bunk beds with twin on top and queen on the bottom, a private bath with a shower/tub combination and Smart TV.

The Great room has a bluetooth stereo system, 55" Smart TV provided for your enjoyment.

For meals at home the complete kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances and cookware is adjacent to the dining area. The dining area seats 6 people.

The Galena Resort has 63 holes of scenic play for the golfing enthusiast and a short walk will bring you to the Galena Golf Practice Range as well as the entrance to a lovely nature trail.

If fishing is on your to do list, the water in Lake Galena is stocked with fish from perch to tiger muskie. Boats and tackle are available for rental at the marina.

The Galena Territory General Store is just a short drive up the road where you will find groceries, spirits, bakery goods and a great deli for freshly made sandwiches. The store also offers a self serve gas station.

You can enjoy fine dining in an elegant setting at the Highlands Restaurant or if something lighter is in order, stop for a sandwich and drink at the friendly lounge inside Eagle Ridge Resort.

Also, you'll find Chestnut Mountain, the premier Galena ski resort with Alpine Slides for summer fun only minutes from your door!

For your protection the house is equipped with a Ring Security System that includes a camera on the front porch monitoring the stairs, walkway and driveway.

A delightful and serene stay

Wonderfully located. The main living space overlooks the rolling hills of the golf course. Sunsets from the screened porch. The house could not be any closer to the walnut hill outdoor swimming pool which you have access to. It's very private and not busy so a wonderful alternative to popping in the car to the facilities at the owners club.The house is on a single level and very well and thoughtfully equipped. Even pool towels were available if you needed them. The beds and sofas were very comfortable. The water pressure was good, making for good showers and baths. There were TVs in the bedrooms as well as the living room. Good WiFi signal.Stacy, the host, was super responsive, easy to work with and very helpful.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we'll be visiting again! Tips:- Farmers market on Sunday at the owners club- piggy wiggly and Walmart for groceries (stock up in advance)

Great rental!

The location is perfect, the living area huge and kitchen is well supplied. Very comfortable beds, with king beds in two of the bedrooms. The kids loved the bunk beds in the third bedroom. A real plus that each BR has its own bathroom! We hope to return in the summer to enjoy the screened porch And large deck.

My family loved this house. It’s on a beautiful, expensive golf course and right across the street from a quiet pool. There’s access to a larger pool at the owners club as well. This house was clean, easy to find, communication was easy and our entire trip was a breeze. We will definitely be back!

Great location located on the golf course. Very open floor plan with all the extras provided. 3 large bedrooms with 3 baths perfect for our family. The weather wasn’t great during our stay but when it’s warm out the deck and porch overlooking the course would be a great hangout. Only recommendation would be to add some type of blinds in the large family area

Excellent weekend away

This is an excellent property in the Galena territory. There is plenty of space and everything you could possibly need included. The very large deck, screened in porch and open layout made for a great gathering for 4 adults and 4 kids. The beds were all very comfortable, and we were given an extra roll out bed for the bunk room so all 4 kids could sleep together. King size beds in the other 2 bedrooms were so nice! We all loved this house and can’t wait to come back for winter activities!

Great House, and Location!

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here! The house is great! One of the cleanest properties we've stayed in, along with great communication. We forgot a few items, and they called us immediately to set up a way to return them to us. Would highly recommend! Thanks for another great weekend!

Home away from home

Wonderful home! We have stayed at this home before it was sold. The new owners have made some great changes to the decor and landscaping. We love the location! A 1 min walk to the pool and the North Golf Course is right up the street. Can't get any better than that. This home has everything you need. So clean and cozy. The only con is that the living room/kitchen area needs blinds or curtains to pull shut. When the sun sets, it is very bright while making/ eating dinner. Will definitely come back!

Clutter-free, fresh/new smell, quiet!

Some background: We had rented another VRBO property 6 months in advance only to be notified two weeks before our departure that they had double-booked. We were very disappointed as we had selected the home to near 3 other families for our inaugural reunion with the expectation we could walk to each others house. OUR NEW RENTAL was a blessing. While this home was more costly, it was PERFECT! My husband who has a hard time getting around could do so with ease. Everything you needed was provided including a well-stocked spice cabinet. We were only here for 2 days and I regret not longer to truly enjoy the home. Added bonus across the street from a subdivision pool (bit chilly) but wonderful!! And finally the homeowners had excellent communication! 5 Stars in my mind and we will be back if we ever return to Galena.
