Welcome to your Galena Get Away!!!

Welcome to the Galena Get Away! Get away from it all in this updated townhouse. This 3 bedroom, 3 bath town home is centrally located in the heart of the territories with easy access to 4 golf courses, the Owners Club, fine dining 15 minutes away in downtown Galena. Our townhouse is perfect for friends and family with 3 levels of peace and tranquility for all. Enjoy mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee watching early morning hot air balloons lift off on the weekends. There is plenty of room to play cards on the dining table, while others watch TV or surf the internet, others can go downstairs to watch sports or play air hockey.

The Owners Club offers 2 swimming pools, one outdoor (summer) and one indoor (year round use), a basketball court that doubles as a pickle ball court, a full service exercise room, game room and snack bar! Regardless of the season, there is something for everyone to do. It is time to start your Galena Get Away! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us and we look forward to hearing from you.

Normal check-in is 4pm and check-out is 11am. Minimum age for rental is 25 years old. No parties allowed. No pets allowed.

Infestation

We arrived at the property only to find it infested with Box Elder bugs. When we initially contacted the owner, he mentioned, "we've been fighting with those bugs all winter." This made us question why he would rent it out in such a condition? He assured us that the cleaning crew would come to "clean" the place, but they never showed up. Our patience ran out when a bug landed on the kitchen table while we were eating. Additionally, the heating system was not functioning properly. When the HVAC technician arrived, he confirmed that the heat was technically working, but the owner had set it too low, causing it to take a very long time to warm up. Thankfully, the technician noticed we had a fireplace and kindly offered to start it for us. Thanks to his help, we decided to stay and try to enjoy the rest of our trip, although we continued to deal with the bugs throughout the weekend. When I communicated with the owner, I asked what could be done to make this situation better.? His response was to reimburse us for one night. Just one night! I work very hard and was looking forward to a quiet weekend with my friends, only to end up cleaning and ensuring the bugs didn't get into our food. Needless to say, we won’t be staying here ever again.

Annual ski weekend

This was the 5th year staying in the same condo. Wonderful place, 3 levels and 2 family rooms so kids and adults have space. Especially appreciate that the kitchen is alway stocked with basics including kuerig and k-cups. Thank you for the special Galena snacks gift that we’ll use Super Bowl weekend.

Cozy and Comfortable

We enjoyed our weekend girlfriend’s trip and stay at this cozy townhome. We appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and small family room with a wood burning fireplace. The only reason for the 4 star cleanliness rating was quite a few dead lady bugs laying around when we arrived. But the woodsy view and quiet surroundings were just what we needed.

Annual golf trip

Amazing home, well kept, clean, comfortable. Our group has an annual golf trip and this year we stayed in the Galena area. It is hard to find homes that can handle the size, comfort for our group. This home does it very well.

Five Years of Fun!!!!

Our Sistas group has been visiting Galena for 5 years and have enjoyed the amenities of this beautiful condo! We love the "treetop" deck and serene environment. The hosts are spectacular and always welcome us! I would highly recommend this rental!

Wow wow wow. This place is even better than we could have imagined. Clean, inviting, comfy. Everything we needed included from ample towels, shampoo etc to coffee and kitchen. It made a girls getaway for 5 of us, a perfect relaxing break. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location and home!

Amazing home and location

This home was perfect for a get away to Galena. The property was spacious and very clean. Check in and communication was a breeze. We had zero issues during our stay. Every room was cozy and having three bathrooms was amazing for ease of getting ready for our event. Each room was clean and cared for. I would come back and recommend this home for any stay. The Owner's Club was an added bonus. So many amenities to use and great walking trails!

Great place!!

This is a terrific property! It is super roomy—immaculately kept and well appointed. Plus, we have never stayed in a vacation rental which was so well supplied with everything you might need. The location is really ideal in the Galena Territory and we loved having morning coffee out on the deck—which is adjacent to the woods. These are terrific hosts with a terrific property!
