Working on ck in. Guy said go around corner. We got in car but he meant down the hall. Didn’t tell us until 3rd pass by. Ac in room has no decals. Have to guess what buttons do.

I wish I'd taken photos. Young guy at check in nice, stated mess due to remodeling & I was in a remodeled room. Walk in & wasn't sure if blood or what on floor. Called front desk had come up, mini fridge was leaking rusty water all over floor. I will say within about 30 minutes fridge was removed & mess cleaned. Remodel was for sure done could tell fresh paint & new bathroom BUT paint splatter & white sanding/paint dust over things. My 2 daughters & 3 young granddaughters all in town for Moody Gardens/Galveston visit so time crunch, we had to get going. Came back in about 10 PM , weather had got cold and the A/C unit would ONLY let us set on 60 or 90, seriously wouldn't allow us to arrow up or down only showed 60 or 90. Breakfast was pastries nor did we care to eat there. We checked out in the AM after cold all night. Told older guy at check out, his response was you call us any hour our job to fix. I informed him it was 10 PM and my granddaughters were asleep! Reminded him horrible stay we started with the fridge & mess on floor. Again repeated I should have called him. No offer of I'm sorry, refund part, anything. So beyond disappointing. AND since check out Sunday I've been congested sure due to freezing sleeping and/or dust. I refuse to call as I attempted to make aware at check out to make right. DO NOT STAY HERE RENOVATED OR NOT. Such an embarrassment that I booked this for myself , daughters & granddaughers.
