Great hotel with good sized room. Breakfast was very good and lots of options. Pool needs a face lift, feels very dated in comparison to rest of hotel.

Very friendly and welcoming

The hotel is very large and has an excellent bar, lounge area and very nice rooms. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Convenient bus service to get to the city centre and although it is walkable (i went down by the lough) there is a bus stop nearby for service to the city and to the racecourse

Excellent modern hotel in Galway

This is a really wonderful, up to date and modern hotel in Galway City. It was very easy to get a taxi from the Galway train station to drop us off at this hotel. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We also appreciate this hotel is attached to a fitness center with an absolutely beautiful aquatic Center with hot tub, steam room and dry sauna. The showers are absolutely spectacular in the brand new locker rooms. They have a beautiful full service dining room restaurant as well as a grab-and-go fresh made coffee shop. The lobby is modern and up-to-date and all of the staff at this hotel were friendly and helpful. We definitely will stay here again.

The rooms are nice. The facility is huge. The restaurant is great and has great dinner options. The breakfast buffet is also really nice. The rooms seem clean and well stocked. We did not have AC but the windows could open which made for a good nights sleep!

Worth a stay

Overall a nice experience but breakfast service is a bit laboured and chaotic even though it’s self-service apart from getting your own Tea and Coffee. They put a big emphasis on Green which is great. In our room there was some chipped paintwork and a few other cosmetic touch ups required. The gym is excellent.

Staff and service were great. Location did not exactly provide for a convenient “easy to get around town” and explore, which meant driving everywhere. Bed was uncomfortable and bathroom’s exhaust fan worked poorly as we had to leave door open when showering and wait a few minutes after so the condensation could evaporate

This place is well maintained. The breakfast was great with lots of options. My only complaint was that the pillows were either too fluffy or too hard. Staff was friendly, would stay here again. If you're looking for walking distance to the main part of town, this isn't for you.

Very mid grade hotel compared to North American standards. Room dated. Pool has strange rules. No kids after 7:30 pm, yes it is listed on their website but no mention on check in. I asked about the pool and had a child (11) standing beside me at check in. Disappointed we couldn't use the pool, it was the reason we chose this hotel. Breakfast was good...
