Terrible, no one cleaned the room. I returned late from work. No toilet paper, no coffee. When I approached the desk they said “you needed to ask.” I replied “how would I know that.. I have stayed here before and my room was cleaned.” Could not use the gym without an appointment. Ridiculous, terrible lighting in the room and very old, dirty mattress. Extremely disappointing.

Worst hotel experience ever. No communication that hotel was actually going to be CLOSED. YES, A hotel closed over the holidays. Do not waste your time here. Had gnats (small flies) flying all around our food and beverages the entire time we were at hotel and a number of the restaurants were not even open for service. Do not waste your money at the Dean. I wish I could give 0 stars.

I can't say enough amazing things about The Dean Galway! This was my second stay and it was just as seamless as my first. Early check in, and being able to store luggage to enjoy the last few hours in Galway was the best! The employees from front desk to the coffee bar to Sophie's were all just divine!
