Las habitaciones están muy amplias con balcón pero les URGE remodelarlas, la alfombra, el mobiliario, la cama, el baño son de hace mil años. El área de alberca, playa y restaurantes están muy bien. El check in fue bueno sin ser nada especial pero el check out lo hicimos a las 7AM y un señor que era el único en recepción, con CERO disposición de atender, hasta parece que le molestó que le pidiéramos el check out.

The hotel was fine for what we needed though a bit far out from Taormina so cabs were expensive at €30 each way. Breakfast was ok but fantastic. Staff never met your eyes so trying to get service for tea or an omelette was tricky.

When you first walk in, it’s very lovely. The staff is excellent. The area with the beautiful pool overlooking the water the very nice private beach and the facilities are top notch and the breakfast is absolutely wonderful. They make you omelettes and pancakes, which is very unusual for an Italian hotel. Only a couple of negatives, which was the parking that’s not on the hotel premises, but you have to walk about 100 m outside the hotel and the soundproofing of the room. You can hear the people in the hallway outside of your room talking, which makes me think they can also hear us inside our room. Overall, though I would rate this as definitely a hotel that will not disappoint. And I will definitely return back.

This hotel is perfect in every way. Private beach and beautiful pool area with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. Breakfast was outstanding with chef prepared omelette, poached ir fried eggs and many other offerings. Bed are extremely comfortable. Great restaurants in the hotel and directly across the street. Bus to Taormina is a 5 min walk!

The pool area was nice but there were limited umbrellas. Beach looked nice in front but we never used it. Rooms are terrible, so are the beds - all needs updating which I assume is part of the hotel plans over time. Gym was bad and needs updating - should find a place to work out with a view, rather than in the basement. Staff were all very nice and pleasant. Overall what we expected for the value in this area.

The common areas were redone, modern and clean. The lobby was welcoming and well appointed and the pool is gorgeous with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean. The beach area is well appointed with new umbrellas and chairs and is private, convenient and a perfect place to spend the day. On the negative, the food at the restaurant for lunch at the pool is equivalent to airport lounge food. Also, while the rooms are large especially considering European standards with a very comfortable king size bed, they are old and NOT updated. Old carpet, old appointments, no usb outlets. On the positive, our view from the room was spectacular, front facing sea with a nice balcony and it was quiet where we slept well in the aforementioned comfy bed. We still enjoyed our stay very much, but wish the rooms were updated to the standard of the common areas and price tag.

Our room flooded on the first night because of a blocked drain. The staff took 2 hours to attend and then did not place us in another room even though the room had been flooded too. We were then told we could swim in the pool until 8pm, however they made everyone get out at 6.30pm. Tv did not work. Terrible experience and would not recommend. The hotel needs to work on their customer service

Rooms can use some updating. Lobby, pool and grounds are beautiful. Staff was friendly especially the bartender at the inside lobby. I wish I could remember his name.
