The suite we were in was beautifully appointed with an amazing bathroom, beautiful views, quiet, accessible- and more than I could have expected. It’s a great location to get to everything in every direction within a half hour drive. Would stay there again, for sure.

The property has been updated since the last time I stayed there. All the updates have been nicely done and represent a solid improvement. The breakfast is one of the highlights of the stay, and the local wineries that pour at happy hour are well worth the visit. HWY12 had some good pinots and very nice reserve cabs. All said it was a good visit to Glen Ellen and Sonoma.

We loved everything; the layout, spaciousness, quality, cleanliness, beautiful grounds and extraordinarily kind staff. The accommodations were high quality and we appreciated the details. The parking was ample with easy access. The pool and grounds are so inviting. The whole place is high vibe. Their generosity with wine and cheese is beyond amazing. They even have Sake to share. The hotel is beautifully situated near a creek and among trees and attractive landscaping with outdoor seating areas around the pool and on porches. The amenities were good - from a guest wine tasting in the afternoon to breakfast in the morning. Our room - a Deluxe King, however, was lacking. It was much smaller than shown on the website and did not have the Asian design aesthetic and comfortable/luxury feel reflected in the online photos. For example, the bed frame was made from metal and you had to be careful not to hurt your legs on the sharp edges when walking around it. The mattress was very flat and hard. The room only had one window and was dark during the day. In Sonoma, travelers do spend most of their time exploring the vineyards, towns, and natural beauty of the area, however, staying in a warm and welcoming hotel room is also part of the overall experience.
