This property is phenomenal! We had an early girls/Mother’s Day weekend trip and stayed here, absolutely loved the hotel! It is a must stay in Napa, we could walk to restaurants, tasting rooms. The staff was wonderful and always helpful and kind! Thank you for an amazing experience! Will be back!

Really attractive hotel in the heart of downtown Napa. Rooms are well appointed, but the bed was too soft for me. The spa was disappointing as my massage therapist did not know how to do light to medium pressure and could only use 25 hot towels all over me. Even so I would give it 4.5 stars asthe hotel goes and will stay there again.

The Archer

The Archer was a very nice property. Only issues we had where the valet services wasn’t operating 24/7 so when we woke at 5am for coffee went down to get our vehicle we had to walk down a dark alley to retrieve it ourselves. The other issue was the bathroom sink clogged and wouldn’t drain

Found the Archer expensive but lacking in certain areas. The lady checking us in didn't come across friendly, it all seemed very business-like and transactional. We rang down to ask for help making a restaurant reservation only to be told to just use opentable (this is fine of course, but not what you'd expect from a great hotel).

Archer Napa Didn’t like: first room on second floor, where all the large festivities and conventions are probably held raised a noise concern. Thankfully no events were held that day. However the ventilation in the room was quite noisy. The room was quite small and the bench affixed to the foot of the bed left a narrow space between it and the dresser. We felt the narrow gap creates an accident waiting to happen situation if and when you have to get up in the middle of the night when nature calls. We would suggest staying away from rooms on the second floor. Fortunately we were able to get an upgrade on the 4th floor the following day. It was roomier and the ventilation was not noisy at all. We are grateful to the staff and their help. Can’t say enough good things about the hospitality personnel.
