3 Bedroom, 3 Bath, Incredible Views, Infinity Pool and Outdoor Entertaining Area

Enjoy incredible panoramic views of The Valley of the Moon, Kenwood and Santa Rosa at this private villa atop Trinity Mountain. This getaway is located in the Mayacama mountain range between Sonoma and Napa Valley, making it the perfect home base to fully experience all that wine country has to offer. It is just a 10 minute drive to the quaint village Glen Ellen or Kenwood, and under 30 minutes to Yountville, Sonoma and St. Helena.

ABOUT THE HOUSE

This Italian style villa boasts incredible views of wine country with legendary sunsets. You will feel like you are on a retreat as you enjoy the gardens and many outdoor amenities surrounding the house. The grounds are very tranquil and private, being situated next to the expansive and beautiful Bouverie Preserve.

Your stay will have you experiencing la dolce vita as you recline on your lounge chair, gazing out at the breathtaking landscape. Utilize the Outdoor kitchen equipped with a seating area for 10 people. In the summer, swim in our Infinity salt water pool. Relax into the evening, sitting under the pantheon style shade structure with outdoor lighting for after sunset.

The interior has ample natural light with sliding glass doors leading to a large balcony. Experience home comfort in the spacious family room with a flat screen television. Sit among friends and family in our dining room with a large farmhouse table set for 10 and step out onto the large deck with wisteria.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove and convection oven, granite countertops, and two walls of windows to enjoy the view even while you cook.

The 1st bedroom has a queen bed, dresser and walk in closet. Down the hall from the 1st bedroom and bathroom is a laundry room with washer and dryer.

The master bedroom is a charming space with California King bed, dresser, seating area and large bathroom.

LOCATION
Our villa is the ideal location to experience the vineyards, tasting some of the finest wines in the world.

Head into downtown Glen Ellen for a bite to eat at one of the delicious restaurants that include our favorites The Fig Cafe, Stars, Glen Ellen Inn, and Les Pescals.

There is plenty of hiking in the surrounding area, Sugarloaf Ridge State Park, Sonoma Regional Park and of course the Bouverie Preserve.

You’re just over an hour from San Francisco if you want to visit one of the greatest cities in the country.

Awesome property with breathtaking views. The pool and outdoor area were great to relax at after visiting wineries all day. It's in a great location and easy to get to Napa Valley. It takes less than 10 mins to get to restaurants in Glen Ellen and is surrounded by outstanding smaller wineries.

Amazingly well stocked kitchen

My friends and I had everything we needed to cook some delicious feasts. The BBQ grill was also spotless which is not always the case with a rental.One caveat, there are a lot of stairs to get to the front door, so this house is not for those with mobility issues.

Wow
what a stay!

From the beginning this stay was so special! Upon getting there we were given a tour by the owners and they answered any questions we had. They made it clear we could contact them anytime and they would do anything they could to make our stay an epic one. The outdoor space was something from a magazine and we were able to relax for the first time in a long time. We couldn’t have asked for a better VRBO for the six of us. Wineries were close by and Sonoma was just 20 minutes away. In the evening you could see the stars as you enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Indoors was extremely comfortable and clean. We are already talking about coming back to enjoy this space once again! Thank you so much!!

Amazing property and hosts!

This property is incredible! It had an amazing view on top of a mountain. The house was perfectly clean. The amenities of the property were incredible too - pool, hot tub, billiards table, and more. A group of 6 friends stayed here very comfortably. The homeowner and his wife were extremely friendly and very prompt to reply to any messages on VRBO or by text during our stay. The location is convenient to Napa / Sonoma area wineries and restaurants, and the town of Glen Ellen was lovely. I highly recommend a stay here!

A treat for the senses

Valley of the Moon Getaway was heavenly... from the scent of wisteria with morning coffee, to relaxing by the pool at sunset, to sipping wine by the fire as the moon rose up over the mountain. All just beautiful!

Beautiful property. Kitchen was totally stocked with all needed amenities. Only reason I gave it a four is : Need another access path to downstairs as spiral stairs are difficult and no access path to sliding door, steps to jacuzzi either way around pool are tricky, jacuzzi didn’t go past high 90’s, and beds were not real comfortable/supportive. Age may be a factor as I was youngest of group at almost 70.

Retreat

We went for a retreat at a midway point of our home improvement. We found a place will would come back to with family and friends for an occasions that celebrates life and love. Lidio and Linda created an oasis to chill, to connect, and to play. There are many design details that I want to bring back to my home. We also brought back stunning pictures and fond memories of the long wine country views and the experience of those huge sunsets. We are frequent VBROers. This was above our usual price point and it was worth it. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend. Thank you Lidio and Linda!

Better than any winery view
