This hotel is so fun especially for kids. Might be too fun as the kids didn’t want to ever leave it. :) Its proximity to Liseberg can’t be beat and the theming is a fun mix of mysterious and creative. The kids could’ve spent hours in the lobby on the slide.

The staff is excellent, the beds are comfortable, and the food is pretty good. There is a giant slide in the front area and I actually got to sit and have a coffee in peace while the kids ran up and down the slide for an hour. It was worth the stay alone, haha. If you're going to the Liseberg Amusement Park, you can't get a better location. I highly recommend leaving the hotel, though, and going to Haga, a little town that is about a 20-30 minute walk from the hotel. It has the best food and cobblestone walkways.

Good Hotel

I continually saw the online check-in option, but for some reason, the site failed to save my details. Upon my arrival, there was a long line, and it took a while to check in, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. She went over the amenities and the breakfast and parking procedures. The complimentary breakfast was part of the hotel rate, but the parking fee of over €40.00 seemed a bit pricey.

Amazing hotel for those with children. Felt like something from a film. Breakfast was amazing. Children's play room was a lovely addition. Would be good if the films in the cinema could have subtitles so those of different languages could enjoy the cinema too.

We had a wonderful stay – this is truly the most child-friendly hotel we’ve ever visited. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and having direct access to Tivoli is a huge plus. This was our second time here, and while most of the staff were just as incredibly warm, helpful, and welcoming as before, we did notice a couple of receptionists who didn’t live up to the hotel’s usual high service standard. Also, the ticket machines for Tivoli were showing incorrect (higher) prices, and no clear signs were posted, which caused confusion. Still, overall, this remains a fantastic hotel, and we would gladly return.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I absolutely had to for this hotel — it was nothing short of magical. The decor felt like something straight out of Alice in Wonderland. Every corner is beautifully curated, with incredible attention to detail and a mix of modern and special antique furniture throughout. So much pattern and colour but still so elegantly done and perfectly styled. For the kids, the highlights were the giant gold spiral slide in the lobby, which they took down to breakfast every morning! They were also completely enchanted by the gorgeous carousel ride, which ran several times a day. On weekends, the fun continued with a dedicated children’s room filled with games and a mini cinema. There was always something for them to do. Everything has been thought of for families at this hotel. We couldn’t fault it and will absolutely return. Thank you for such a special stay.
