No microwave no coffee pot Asked if I could have main floor room due to I have problems doing stairs got a basement room Below the window was an open space to the outside. I could stick my hand outside.

The only issue we had was not being able to check in until later in the afternoon. Apparently, they were understaffed that day. The TV and viewing was hard to figure out. Not sure we ever did. The breakfast was not really a desirable breakfast. Get some healthy cereal, etc not loaded with sugar.

The room was very cozy. We do wish the plumbing system was updated a bit. The sink and toilet had immense water pressure, but the shower was very much lacking water pressure. Whenever you stepped into the shower, it sounded like you were going to fall through the floor with all of the cracking. Staff was wonderful. Parking was great.

Our stay was good, we were just there for 1 night, we were a little disappointed that the hot tub was "closed for maintenance" and when we asked staff when it would be available the front desk staff had no idea it was closed- was going to call and find out, but we never heard anything - on the positive side it had a Sauna that we didn't know about so that was a plus :)

The front desk person was smiling and helpful and the beds were firm and comfortable. The hot tub was not working and we were looking forward to using it. The facility was in dire need of an upgrade of carpet, doors and trim. The TV did not have any channels, and we didn't bring our Netflx password with us. The shower was the worse and it barely trickled out the water. This Lodge was not worth the $183 price we paid for. It was well past peak leaf viewing season on top of it.

Couldn’t get our handicap assessable room due to a snafu. So my husband had to go up and the stairs. We did not use any amenities because he couldn’t go downstairs over and over. The clerk did try to shuffle but couldn’t make it happen, a little peckish about it. Not as snotty as the maintenance/housekeeping guy who repeatedly slammed the doors at 7am. When we opened the door to see what was going on he laughed, said sorry for the noise and then slammed more doors. What’s the point of a do not disturb sign if every door around you gets slammed multiple times.

The hotel was a great value! And the value did not sacrifice any great qualities... very clean, convenient, great view of the harbor and light house! Check in and out was easy! And the location is great, so close to everything!
