Homeless everywhere and coming through the parking lot asking for handouts. Also dog was allowed to go in the breakfast area and right beside tables while everyone was eating and definitely was not even a service dog. Just someone's huge pet dog. Carpets in hallways dirty and stained.

Homeless everywhere and asking for handouts. Dog was allowed in walking pass tables where people were eating and around the food area that wasn't even a service dog of any kind at all. Was a very large dog. Pitbull was running lose outside the on the second night. Felt like a very unsafe area with that and all the homeless. Also lack of parking.

Hotel staff were accommodating and welcoming, which is the ONLY reason I didn’t rate this as terrible. Our floor was so dirty in the bathroom I was afraid to take my shoes off. Linens were dirty and had to be replaced. Towels had someone else’s hair on them. Bathtub was chipped, water didn’t get hot, and the noise level until 4:30 am was so high, we had to ask the manager if the hotel had enforceable quiet hours! I wouldn’t recommend a stay here.

Swat team!

Parked the car and a swat team arrived at the hotel right across the street (30 feet) blocking all roads to make a drug and prostitution raid (as we were told). The neighborhood does not seem to be very safe. Room was decent but it was hard to relax after that. In the morning we woke to two people yelling at the top of their lungs right outside our room. For breakfast at 8:45 there was no food to eat. Not minimal- nothing yet the breakfast was supposed to last until 9:30. I will not stay here again.

We arrived into North Carolina on Thursday. That night was fine there were no complaints. Friday night we were in our hotel room when we hear this noise and we run over to the bathroom the ceiling had cracked and water was now leaking onto our bathroom floor. We informed staff of what was occurring as well as took pictures we were told the next morning we would get accommodations but that they couldn’t put us up in a new hotel unless we paid for it. We had to walk between rooms to use the bathroom and the shower in the other room was also broken. We informed staff of this as-well and nothing was done. On Saturday morning we woke up got a new room they tried to put us in another single bed room even though there was three of us this was the second time they had tried that. I informed them again why this wasn’t gonna work they got us a two bed room but by then we hadn’t showered for two days, were ignored, could barely pee, and has stinky sewage water falling into our original hotel room. We decided to check and get a refund, which we only received partial of because they said “Thursday was fine.” Overall I would not go back and would not recommend because there staff were not helpful. When I spoke to the manager about what the other staff member told me she informed me that “he was not a manager and what he said didn’t matter” when I informed her that he “represents best western” she rolled her eyes.

I don’t hold anything again the hotel and the staff, my issue was with the guests and the arounds, there were many people at the hotel parking smoking weed and the hotel hall smell the same way.

The rooms smelt like cigarettes and the sope bar was broken up and most like old, stains on the hallway floors, WIFI DID NOT WORK and overpriced for what I paid for. $30 to $40 dollars a night is more appropriate price at this location!
