Colony Hotel Haifa
"Lovely hotel at the foot of the bahai garden in Haifa. Hotel has Arabic charm. Nice restaurants nearby. It is far from the beach but there are buses. Be aware that all the Internet reviews say you can rent lounges on the beach, like in Tel Aviv, but you can't. I bought a cheap chair (70 shekels) and left it on the beach when I was done. I wish the hotel had warned me when I asked about the beaches, or better yet, had loaner chairs, but that's not really how Israeli hotels work. Breakfast buffet was good. I would stay there again."
