Hotel was beautiful close to shopping, restaurants and tourists spot. Walkable in all directions. Staff were friendly and approachable. We were accommodated well even after arriving on a red eye flight. Didn’t expect to be colder….next time go summer time

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Hotel du Lac! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and our room was SO comfortable and clean. The restaurant and rooftop have an amazing view of Saint Joseph's Cathedral which really helped enhance our lovely breakfast each morning. I highly recommend staying here, if not the main reason being it is so much value for how much you pay.

The service was superb, from the receptionist to the servers at the buffet. The buffet was ok, not a lot of varieties like other hotel I stayed. The bathroom was clean however the room was running down, the towels were roughly due to old towel. Since I have VIP, we didn’t get offered to upgrade. Also our room was next to the elevator, second floor, and you can hear the noice and talking when someone took the elevator.

Great hotel with fantastic service. We had breakfast in the top floor restaurant which has great views of the city and extensive menu options. There is also a lovely roof top bar. It’s really convenient for walking to restaurants, cafes, shops and sites. Close to the old quarter, lake, water puppet theatre (which was brilliant). A great base.

Beautiful boutique hotel with the loveliest staff who made our stay so pleasant. Special thanks to Lilly, Grace, Emma and Sophia — you were wonderful! Great location too and breakfast was awesome. We would strongly recommend staying at this hotel!! My husband and I loved our time here. All of the staff go above and beyond to ensure you have anything you need and answer any questions you might have! Such great customer service including the airport transfer. Thank you to Sofia and Ken for making our transfer as smooth as possible as our flight was delayed multiple times. They communicated through WhatsApp and ensured our ride was waiting for us when we finally arrived at the airport in Hanoi. We were also offered a free room upgrade and they moved our bags for us while we explored the city. The hotel is in a great location in the old quarter within walking distance of attractions including train street. There is also a great free breakfast buffet with a menu you can order off to have your meal prepared by a chef if preferred. Thank you for the unbelievable customer service and for making our stay very memorable 🙏
