Quaint hotel, comfortable bed, quiet mini fridge in the room, small kettle, and fan, along with a small safe. The room overlooked the courtyard which was quiet so keeping the window open was not a problem. A short stroll to all tourist sites, with nearby mini-shopping markets, restaurants and pubs. Breakfast was standard continental.

This was the only hotel I could find in the middle of the city centre within my budget despite booking several months in advance. The single room, the facilities, the cleanliness and the buffet breakfast were all quite good for the price. There are tram stations all around the hotel to different attractions while many of the attractions including the ferry to Suomenlinna are walkable. All types of restaurants are in close vicinity to the hotel.

Room was big with good views over the neighbourhood which was quite from traffic but close to the centre. Didn’t get our towels changed (1day) and the corridors and reception could do with a lick of paint. Everyone spoke English which was a great help.

A basic budget good place
Pros: Very clean, inexpensive, great location, good basic breakfast, elevator. Cons: Dated, old small shower, no luggage rack, if window was open with curtains open there was no privacy. Needed window open for room got hot.
