Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities
LIKE: Convenient quiet residential area near food shops and good bakery. Good transport links to Helsinki centre. Can walk to Helsinki city centre also. Liked toiletries provided. 1100 check-out time! DISLIKE: We booked what we thought was a HOLIDAY APARTMENT! It was NOT! This looks like a rented out PERSONAL home and that should have been made clear - and we would NOT have booked it! That is not our idea of a Holiday Apartment which is why we do not use certain other companies. A Holiday Apartment SHOULD NOT contain a locked room and PERSONAL CLOTHING! Part open food items in kitchen and in refridgerator! ALL UNUSED foods should be REMOVED BEFORE NEXT GUEST ARRIVING! A partial used box of 20 CIGARETTES was sitting on the kitchen counter top! The outside of the kettle, coffee pot and toaster were stained. Personal clothing and shoes left in cupboards that were open but not available to gests! The bed top mattress was STAINED and DISGUSTING! We REMOVED IT AND THE BED SHEET and used a fresh bed sheet. Check-In arrangement instructions clear - BUT not good to go to an office at night, access office for apartment key and then 10 minute walk to apartment. Lock Box at apartment would be better. We were VERY DISAPOINTED in the apartment, will not use this apartment again and we will look at OTHER sites not Expedia for future bookings. (We have now moved to a holiday apartment in Turku on next part of our holiday - no food items etc!)
