Not a 4 star No Basic amenities in room.

First time in my travels was told by a 4 star hotel that standard rooms do not get basic amenities. No kettle no water no slippers no body lotion.

This was a great choice for my first time in Helsinki. So many things were walkable from the hotel - train stations, restaurants, shopping. The gym and the sauna were nice too. Would definitely stay here again on my next visit. Felt like I really got my money's worth here!

Things we liked: -the room was very quiet - no neighbourly sounds -Room was a good size (the standard King) -Great location for downtown -Good selection at breakfast although heaving at weekends What would make it even better: -Tea, coffee and hot water facilities in the room (there were none) -Bed being made each day by housekeeping (it was not)

Unfortunately we had booked this hotel for a few nights on a nonrefundable basis. We are facing a cancer issue and the hotel was simply uncaring in either giving us a refund or hotel credit. Expedia said that it contacted the hotel staff but they were not sympathetic to our plight. I guess Euros are more important than human life for this hotel.
