The Brook Trout Inn is a real gem. It has been locally owned for the last ten years. The owner and staff are wonderful people. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location makes local towns like Highlands, Cashiers, and Brevard accessible with relatively short drives. There is lots of hiking and waterfalls in the local area. A great place to stay.

This was a wonderful little place for a night away! Last minute plans had us looking for a place to stay at a reasonable price. This place exceeded our expectations! Clean room, comfy bed and the owner goes above and beyond! Had a made to eat breakfast before we left and felt like we were right at home. Will definitely be staying here again when we visit this area!

Loved our stay here! Everything was perfect! Clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Holly was so kind, breakfast included in our stay, coffee, etc. was a plus. The Inn is very well maintained and the gardens, trees and flowers really made our stay even more inviting. Recommendations to local restaurants were great as well. Location is great for exploring waterfalls, hiking, fishing, or just resting. Thank you for our wonderful stay. Hope to come back again.
