An amazing location directly on the beach with beautiful views and sunsets and sound of the crashing waves. We stayed in the two bedroom suite on the ground floor. This was a perfect for our multi-generational family with space and facilities for everyone. The beds were so comfortable and the daily cleaning staff were brilliant. The little things like flowers on the bed were a lovely touch. Breakfast was a stones throw from our room and practically on the beach. We didn’t even have to put shoes on! The breakfast was fresh and cooked to order so no chaotic buffet. We ate in Olin’s restaurant most days as it always exceeded anything else we tried locally. The staff at Suite Lanka were what made our trip so special. They were so friendly and helpful and always ready to assist in any way possible. The sunbeds were reserved just for hotel guests so there was no need to rush in the morning. The pool was a lovely place to cool off in the afternoon sun. We enjoyed Christmas Eve and New Years eve at Olin’s on the beach. The choir that performed Christmas Eve were wonderful, and the young children of the nativity simply adorable. New Year’s Eve was just as special. We were treated to a display of traditional dance and costume by local girls, and the lobster thermidor was to die for. The beach was alive with fireworks at midnight. Overall, Suite Lanka proved to be an unmatched tranquil paradise and the perfect remedy to busy London life.

This property has a rustic feel, however it does need a updating, fixing in some areas a lick of paint and new towels . Its the views that saves this property. It's absolutely stunning. It was lovely waking up to the sounds of the waves.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We stayed in the Pool Suite which was very comfortable. All the staff were very polite and friendly and always had a smile on their face. It is a very relaxed hotel and you just feel at ease as soon as you arrive. The food is amazing and reasonably priced. We would love to come back here one day! Thank you for a lovely stay.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough, perfect, staff rooms food location amazing, easy walk into town down the beach, you can walk the road we found it easier getting a tuck tuck if we didn’t walk down the beach. We ate in the hotel for 6 nights as the food was so amazing. Cocktails are great 😀, room was very spacious and cleaned daily. What I loved was it was small very authentic with amazing see view and sofa on balcony to watch the sunsets, do not hesitate to book.

We absolutely loved our stay at this rare to find classic old style Sri Lankan home away from home place. Stunningly beautiful part of the beach and access to being right on the beach, beautiful calm, peaceful atmosphere and gorgeous building with good natural earthy quality wooden floor and furnishings, with much soul and character and charm! Staff are kind, generous, , and service is petainal human with a loving smile as I find in almost all parts of Sri Lanka. There are now many ‘fancy’ but soul less, impersonal,transactional, consumerist hotels made and run by money hungry giants - whilst it looks great on outside staying at soul less hotels truly does not make things memorable unlike this beautiful hotel. Superb hotel. Fully recommend. Thank you Suite Lanka staff and hotel. We will love stay with you again and bring others. Couple of recommendations- Please continue to serve traditional Sri Lankan exquisite cuisine- and continue its authenticity which is what myself and I’m sure many other Sri Lankan and non Sri Lankan native tourists are coming for and seeking! Stronger power of the shower would be much appreciated. And lastly please stay heart centred and don’t change to become more commercial / mass market etc. We love your unique classic authentic charm! Great choice for families

We had a lovely stay at Suite Lanka. Great location on the beach and very easy and welcoming with children. We stayed for 6 nights with two children aged 3 and 1 and all had a great time. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, which is ideal with children as it's on the ground-floor and easy to pop back from the beach, pool and restaurant. The rooms are large and fully equipped, we borrowed a travel cot that was good quality. The pool is quiet and we often had it too ourselves, which was great for the kids to splash about in. We ate in the restaurant everyday. There's a wide selection including vegetarian and Sri Lankan, all reasonably priced. Only had one opportunity to try the cocktails but they were great.
