Nice Condo that can be great with a few upgrades
We stay at SeaCrest whenever we visit Hilton Head because we love the condos and the location. We are normally in larger units with our daughter, but this property was the perfect size since only my husband, and I were on this trip. The codo had a nice layout. The view was fine. Though we could not see the beach, we could see the ocean in a distance; it was relaxing. The VRBO pictures of the bedroom, living room area and bathrooms were as they appear. The dĂ©cor was cute, I always look for that. Nice furniture, artwork, and table pieces. The furniture appears to be new as an upgrade. There was an Alexa available for use and they had HULU, Netflix and other available channels as a perk on the TVs; that was nice. The condo had not been renovated but it was clean. The towels were nice and white. We had to call about the iron not working, and they were VERY PROMPT getting us a new replacement. Where things went wrong was the kitchen. Other than the nice counter tops and bar stools, there needs to be some upgrades. The refrigerator is old with rust stains on it that were very distracting. The stove had a burner that does not work nor does the oven light. Frankly, it could use all new appliances. The dishes, cookware and silverware need to be upgraded as well. The carpet needs to be replaced in the bedroom and all the rugs replaced. Last, there was a smell coming from the heating unit. I donât know if they just need to change the filters or have the unit serviced, but it affected my sinuses all weekend each time it came on. The unit is nice and overall we enjoyed our stay. You have a diamond in the rough with this condo and with these changes it will be a top of the line unit. Just a little more investment in property to give value for what we pay..
