Our FAQ:

HOW FAR TO BEACH: Out the side door-- 2-3 minutes walk and your toes are in the surf. Prefer to drive? DAY AFTER LABOR DAY THROUGH MARCH, EVERYONE MAY PARK AT THE BEACH CLUB.

PETS: We welcome your well-behaved dog (small to medium sized) for $350 per dog, maximum 2. Regrettably, Labradors and other oily coated breeds are not allowed. Dogs are never allowed on furniture or beds (or their humans have to pay a fine) and must be crated when left alone.

No pets in your party? No problem as there is NO pet evidence in this house.

PAYMENTS: For reservations made thirty (30) days or less days prior to arrival, payment in full is due at the time the reservation is made. For reservations made thirty one (31) days or more prior to arrival, payment of 25% of the total is required, and the full amount of travel insurance premium, if accepted, is required at the time of booking. The balance of the final total is required thirty (30) days prior to arrival. Long term winter reservations policy differs- please inquire.

CANCELLATIONS: You are welcome to cancel your reservation without penalty and receive full refund of your deposit up to 31 days prior to arrival. Cancellations made 14 days to 30 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund of total payment. At 13 days prior to arrival, your reservation becomes noncancelable and non-refundable. Travel insurance is always highly recommended.

Perfect vacation!

We had the best time at 8 Laughing Gull! The house is in a fantastic location and had everything that we could need. Not having to bring beach towels, chairs and a wagon was a gigantic plus!! The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was wonderful to work in. The beach was amazing and super easy to access. We had bikes delivered to the house and had the best time biking all around sea pines on the shaded paths. Hope we can return someday!

Everything needed was there !

We are a beach family and this place had it all! We were able to use all of the beach supplies at the place to spend the whole day on the beach. It was an easy walk to the beach. The place was well stocked for cooking and so was the laundry room to wash multiple loads of clothes. Everything was labeled and working which made things nice!

8 Laughing Gull was perfect - located steps from the beach, single level, impeccably clean and thoughtfully accessorized. We had everything we needed, including a well equipped kitchen, laundry room and plenty of bath and beach towels. The home was light and bright - tile floors, sliding glass doors and skylights with comfortable beds. Perfect place, perfect stay!

Because of sickness only 3 adults and 1 teenager of our 6 were able to attend. Because of that the trip was disappointing. The house and location were excellent. I am disappointed that I have not received a response from an email I sent to guest services on Tuesday, June 27.

Great place for our trip

Very quiet and close to the beach (less than 5 minute walk on a path). We have stayed in several places over the years and this was the best stocked in terms of beach towels, chairs, coolers and a welcome basket. Ended up calling the location help number when we arrived and when we left and they were friendly and helpful both times.

Beautiful home ! Amazing location!

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home.- the home is well appointed and beautifully decorated. The beach is just a very short walk away on a nearby path. We rented bikes and had fun riding them along the nearby bike paths and into town. A very peaceful and fun beach vacation for the family!

Fantastic Beach House on Laughing Gull

We just returned from a week at 8 Laughing Gull managed by Beverly Serral BESTNEST properties. The level of attention to detail was apparent and the condition of the home was immaculate. We were able to bring our dog and there were not only welcome treats for the humans, but also welcome treats for the dog! How thoughtful. Not a hint of pet odor in the home. Bed linens, blankets were luxurious and everything in the home has been placed with careful planning, care, and a designer touch. We will always choose a BESTNEST property for out future trips
there is a HUGE difference. Management was super responsive, quick, and didn’t make you feel like you were bothering them. THANK YOU! Our family needed this so badly, and it was just wonderful.

Nice home and great location

We have stayed here before and will probably stay there again. The only disadvantage we encountered was lack of cups or mugs, and our daughter and son in law said their bed was extremely uncomfortable. Our king bed was fine. We appreciate all the essentials such as laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, and a well stocked kitchen.
