Ocean One 211 - Oceanfront 2nd Floor Condo

This 3 bedroom oceanfront condo sleeps 8 people comfortably with a king bed in the master bedroom, queen bed in bedroom 2, two doubles in bedroom 3, and a living room sleep sofa. Each bedroom has a full-sized private bath. With decks off the living room and master bedroom, guests staying in Ocean One 211 enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and its white sandy beaches. After hours in the surf, vacationers rinse under the outdoor shower located on the complex's private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool. Ocean One is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Ocean One has added a brand new grilling area to the complex just beyond the pool. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Ocean One is one block from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. Ocean One 211 is not updated as other units at Ocean One. The cost per week reflects the adjustment from other updated units at Ocean One.

Lovely location, however the condo is very tired and was not very clean. Definitely needs a complete renovation. We did enjoy our stay regardless as the property outside was beautiful and well maintained.

Needs updating

The condo complex is very well maintained. One of the bathtubs dripped, called to report the problem and were promised a call back and never received one which was disappointing. The condo itself needs some updating. The unit is spacious and with some TLC it would be spectacular. From pictures and reading reviews we were aware it needed was a bit outdated but were surprised at the dingy living room furniture. Despite the fact we still had a wonderful vacation.

The location was wonderful however the condo needs some major renovation. All 3 bathtubs were cracked and the hot water didn’t last long. The kitchen is very outdated and wasn’t very clean. Overall good for the money for location and ease of beach access but needs some upgrades.

Rental should be updated before being allowed to be rented out again. We will not rent from this unit again. The current condition of this unit distracted from our enjoyment of our vacation.

Perfect location

The property location was ideal. It was a easy walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Beware this condo is VERY outdated. Two of my sisters stayed at Ocean One and their units were much nicer. This unit lacks fans, outlets are loose, ceiling is falling down in the kitchen, and all the cabinets are falling apart. If you can get past that, the location is perfect. Also just as an fyi the pool closes at sunset. We weren’t expecting that. The view is amazing.

Another great stay at 211!

This is our second time this year staying at this property. We like the location and there is plenty of room for a group! We noticed a new dishwasher and great new Kuerig coffee maker. This property is outdated and the listing reflects it accurately through photos and price. The only thing we noticed was it wasn’t as clean as last time(dust on headboards and dirt in corners and floorboards. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

The location is absolutely perfect and the views were amazing. Perfect location if you love to walk to close by restaurants, bars, and things to do. We has an issue with the Water heater, but the management company was quick to respond and get it fixed. The condo could use some upgrades, the couch, the twin beds, there were only 4 outdoor chairs and we needed 2 more. They have 2 can openers, but neither worked and the ice making was not working good.

Great location and roomy condo. furniture cleanleness was terrible. the couch and love seat were so dirty that we had to put covers over them before sitting on them. overall, the condo was extreamely dated and needs a lot of TLC

Great location but very dated condo inside.

This is my second condo within this building 2 years in a row. We love this location and the access to the beach is so easy and close as well as shopping and dining at Coligny Plaza and the Tiki Hut next door. The grounds are very well kept and security on the parking lot eases your mind. This property in particular was at a height you could see the pool and ocean from the balcony but but the beach as well but definitely could hear the waves. The condo itself was as clean as cleaners could get it but there were many things in disrepair. The cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms were literally crumbling on the bottom. The faucets and shower heads were all lose and coming off and had been caulked so many times it was very dingy and dirty looking. Some of the shower heads had so much calcium build up they didn’t really work well. The furniture was very dated (several decades old) but comfortable and appeared pretty clean. Looked like newer carpet in the bedrooms and living room area. The tvs are all very old and have no smart features. There is no way to log into and streaming services. We didn’t even turn them on after finding this out. There were only like 15 cable channels. Glad we brought the iPad for the days it rained for the kiddos. The kitchen had most items need for cooking. Only things maybe missing would be some spatulas and plastic reusable cups. We will be back next year for sure in this building but probably not this unit.

Condo #211 needs major updates!

Our family has traveled to Hilton Head many times and always love staying in these condos. The outside landscaping and the convenience of the property is a wonderful thing! The guards at the gate were so helpful and nice! We felt very safe there! That is the only reason for the 2 stars. Unfortunately, this year our condo was terrible! DO NOT give #211 your money! Sooooo out dated! Dishwasher was rusted inside and out with no rollers on the bottom rack. Freezer ruined all of our ice cream for our Grandchildren. Would not freeze the entire week. The shower was stained and continued to drip. The couches were so old and broken down you practically sat on the ground. Bedspreads looked and felt very old and dated. The furniture was from the 1970s. The carpet had lots of stains all over it! Not one bathroom was updated 
 originals from when it was built. Shower heads were horrible! Vanities were pealing and nasty looking. There were several roaches spotted in the room as well. Come on Owners

Loved it!!!

This is my 6th trip to Hilton Head & have stayed somewhere different every time. This will be where I stay from now on. It was close to the ocean, shopping & restaurants. Could use an update as far as the place but very clean. Met all of our needs. LOVED them location.

Great Location, Property is Nice, but Showing its Age a Bit.

The title really says it all. We were very satisfied with the property, price, and stay in general. The property could use some quality improvements and updating, but overall it was good and we would stay here again.
