This fun Low Country 2 bed, 2 1/2 bath Villa is located in the desirable Shipyard gated community and is the closest complex to the Beach Club & all the amenities the resort has to offer. Walk or ride your bikes to the community pool, beach, Van de Meer Tennis, or the Sonesta Hotel. Adventure out, by car or bike and explore the south end (Coligny Beach area) and Shelter Cove where you will find fun restaurants and endless shopping.



You will enjoy every thoughtful detail of Beachwalk 172 from the updated kitchen, cozy & bright living area and calming colors throughout. The two level, open concept living/ dining area is perfect for gathering and relaxing. Dine inside or out on the private deck with a glimpse of the golf course. A well equipped kitchen offers the perfect spot for cooking when not out experiencing the Island's endless dining options. Both bedrooms are spacious, inviting with en suite baths! A treat when traveling. A washer and dryer is tucked away on the second level for added convenience.

A starter kit of toilet tissue, shampoo, conditioner, soap and body lotion can be found in each bathroom. In addition, we include a starter kit with laundry detergent, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, paper towels and sponge for the kitchen. If you are staying for more than a few days you will need more of these items.



Shipyard requires gate passes for all vehicles to enter and must be purchased at the time of the booking. This villa may have up to two (2) passes. One Beach Parking pass is provided (April 15th-September 15th) per reservation.The Beach Parking pass provides for one parking space at one of the Beach Club parking areas. Also, a complimentary trolley makes runs from the Beach parking area to the Beach Club.



POOL:This property is approx. 150 yards to the pool. **Please note, this pool is NOT heated.

BEACH: It is approximately a 5 minute (0.3 mile) walk to the Shipyard Beach Club.



SHIPYARD is on over 800 acres and is located on the south end of Hilton Head Island. The recreational facilities include 27 holes of Golf and 20 Tennis Courts, Jogging and Biking trails, Health Spa and the beautiful Beach!

We just returned from our stay at 172 Beach Walk in Shipyard Plantation, and it was truly an outstanding experience.The location is ideal—close to everything you need, yet still quiet and relaxing. The condo itself is very spacious and thoughtfully laid out, making it comfortable for everyone. The deck was one of our favorite features, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or winding down in the evening.The kitchen is beautiful and well-equipped, with everything you’d need for a longer stay. The bedrooms were comfortable and inviting, and the bathrooms really stood out—the showers and bathtub felt like something you’d expect in a high-end resort.We’ve been coming to Hilton Head for years, and this is easily one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. It’s clear a lot of care went into the property. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Fantastic condo with easy beach access

The condo was exactly as advertised. Very clean and well appointed. We really enjoyed our stay. Located in Beachwalk the walk to the beach is just 10-15 minutes. We have stayed in Shipyard many times and feel this is the best location on the island. Beachwalk is the closest complex to beach access which is a huge plus.

Great Condo

We enjoyed staying in the Shipyard area. We especially loved our condo in Beachwalk. It was spacious, clean, and great proximity to the beach. We appreciated the well thought out amenities from starter packs of toilet paper, detergent to plush throw blankets. We will be back!

Enjoyable Stay!

My family and I traveled to Hilton Head for my business trip. This condo was very convenient and it was easy for me to get to my meeting at the Sonesta Resort. The condo itself was very clean and comfortable for my family of 5. It was very well equipped. The owner was also very receptive and assisted me with logistics before I even arrived!!

Great Getaway

This property was more than accommodating! Spacious bedrooms and the most well equipped kitchen we have ever had in a rental. Too bad our stay was brief and we didn't do much cooking. The "start up" items for the kitchen and bath were more than ample for our stay. This would be an excellent rental for a larger family or several couples or friends.

The property was as exactly as pictured. Very clean! The closeness of the beach was awesome! Quiet area and we loved hearing all the night time noises from the frogs and bugs! On a clear night there were so many stars! Checkout process was simple! Loved it!

This is an updated unit with modern appliances. Very comfortable living and nicely decorated with good sized rooms, especially master bedroom and bathroom. Close proximity to pool and in short walking distance to ocean. Golf and tennis in the neighborhood.

Quiet time get away

172 Beachwalk provides a setting to get away from winter. Temps are warmer than the Midwest giving you a nice getaway from winter and a chance to wear shorts and polos everyday. Itrip rep was friendly and quick to solve all issues or questions you had. Beach access 5 minute walk away was priceless.

Had very good stay, Everything was great but only internet coverage was very weak. Only was accessible from kitchen table. We where told to use "Itripvacationsguest" wifi. The owner could offer us their wifi password, but there was no note for that. Great location, easy walk to the beach. Great view towards golf course .

Nice stay

We rented this unit to be close to golf and beach. Location is great for both. The unit is very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed coffee on back deck in the morning. We spent very little of our time in the unit as we were exploring all the outdoor activities HH offers. Not fancy. Condo is a bit dated but it worked for our needs. Check in was stressful and the property manager has that feedback for future renters. Pack your own beach towels, they are not provided.
