"Leider muss ich diesmal eine eher kritische Rückmeldung geben. Der Name Steigenberger steht für mich für ein renommiertes, hochwertiges und nicht zuletzt auch hochpreisiges Hotel. Entsprechend groß war die Vorfreude auf unseren Aufenthalt – insbesondere angesichts des gezahlten Preises. Bereits bei der Ankunft begann der Aufenthalt jedoch mit einer Enttäuschung. Für einen Parkplatz mussten wir rund 30 Minuten warten, da die Einfahrt in das Parkhaus erst möglich war, wenn dort ein Stellplatz frei wurde. Die Zimmer waren zwar in Ordnung, konnten jedoch aus unserer Sicht nicht den Unterschied zu deutlich günstigeren Hotels rechtfertigen. Ein besonderes Qualitätsmerkmal, das den Preis erklärt hätte, konnten wir leider nicht erkennen. Besonders enttäuschend war die Situation beim Frühstück. Wir waren zu dritt angereist und wollten selbstverständlich gemeinsam frühstücken. Zunächst konnte uns vom Personal kein Tisch für drei Personen angeboten werden. Auf die Nachfrage, ob man einen zusätzlichen Stuhl an einen Zweiertisch stellen könne, erhielten wir eine ausdrückliche Ablehnung. Stattdessen wurde uns vorgeschlagen, an zwei getrennten Tischen Platz zu nehmen, die zudem weit auseinander lagen. Gerade bei einem gemeinsamen Kurztrip, der auch als Geschenk gedacht war und bei dem man bewusst Zeit miteinander verbringen möchte, ist ein solcher Vorschlag für uns nicht nachvollziehbar. Wir hätten uns hier deutlich mehr Flexibilität und Gastfreundschaft gewünscht."
