I stayed at this hotel on two occasions over around 10 days. There was a dreadful smell in our room and we asked to be moved after the first night and this was done efficiently. Upon returning for a one stay again there was no smell in the room at first but after the air conditioner was on for some rime the smell in the room was disgusting. My wife and I both got sick from the smell. I expect a small animal may have died in the air con. I told the manager but apart from an offer of a cup of coffee or a taxi nothing was done, certainly no full or partial refund. I would NOT stay in this hotel ever again and would advise you to avoid it as well.

Everything was perfect about California Saigon Hotel. Staff are great and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent and we found that we were not eating lunches as we were full until dinner. I would recommend anyone staying for more than a couple of days to ensure that you have a room with a window. Would definitely stay again.

Staff were great, the rooms are dated. Very dark carpet and tile. We had to change room, the mattress on the bed was so hard we could not sleep that night. But they accommodated us. The location was good if you loved the market life

Room was clean, but the decor was quite dated. Location was excellent - right in the heart of District 1 near the Ben Than market. Quiet at night. There was a reasonable range of food for breakfast, although the European options were relatively limited. Staff were really helpful and friendly

Pros: Great location right in the middle of things, 5 minute walk from the museums, bars / restaurants and other attractions. Rooftop pool and bar was great for relaxing after a long day of exploring the city. Cons: Some noise from the street made it to the room. Room was somewhat dated, could use a refresh.

The location of the hotel is excellent, very convenience, easy to access to all the attraction. It is right in the heart of Saigon City, close by the Northern entrance of Ben Thanh Market. The room was not as I expected but was not that bad at all, it seems a bit old. The set back was the room I stayed in does not have a windows. The daily breakfast was good, different menus everyday. All the front desk reception staffs to the Bellboys and the cleaning lady were great, friendly, very helpful. They would help you with your luggages, called the taxi, showing you the direction where to go or find a good place to eat. Kevin was exceptional, communicating well, he would go the extra miles to help you out when you need help of anything. Overall it was a great 5 days , memoreable stay in Saigon. Love it...Hope to be back soon 💖👍
