Mango House - 2 bedroom. Walking distance to beach!

Mango House is situated in Jamestown Park, Holetown. There are 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom and the second has twin beds. There is another bathroom in the main part of the villa. Each bedroom has air conditioning units and ceiling fans. It's perfect for a family of four or two couples.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering guests. Plenty of outside seating. We have very fast WIFI and a phone with free local calls.

There is a SmartTV in the living room with to stream from your favourite services. Hotel sized safe to secure electronics and valuables.

There is beach access just across the road. Easy walking distance to GREAT restaurants, banks, grocery store, shopping (Limegrove Mall) and well serviced bus routes.

Lovely villa - kept immaculate by Marcia the housekeeper who visits twice a week - very comfortable beds and linen etc a bit of road noise from the highway but not an issue and it means you are only 5 mins walk from the beach and local bars and restaurants

Brilliant stay

Mango House is in a very nice and safe location in Holetown. It is clean and comfortable. It is few minutes walk from the beach, Marcia is fabulous and very helpful with local tips. Kitchen was well stocked and the aircons were very effective. The mango trees in the garden were a novelty & an attraction for monkeys & other wildlife. We would highly recommend this place.

Home from home

A perfect location. Quiet, yet so close to a great selection of restaurants. Easy, safe walk to the beach - 5 minutes.Walking distance also to a choice of 2 supermarkets.Lovely, simple detached bungalow in a private, secure area. Security cameras, lights, grilled patios etc. And a fabulous garden for chilling.Property manager was lovely. Cleaned the place 2x per week. And the gardener came once per week. So well cared for.

Beautiful Holetown property

The property has everything you need and is in a great location, with easy access to the beach, restaurants and bus stop. The owner, Lyn, and local manager, Marcia, were both excellent before and during our stay and I have no hesitation recommending Mango House - if we return to Barbados we would definitely stay here again.

Home away from home

A good vacation home in a nice area of Barbados. Communication with owner and home manager was quick and efficient. Very clean. Unfortunately we found it a bit noisy since there was quite a lot of construction going on not far from the house.

Another Awesome Stay at Mango House

Superb access to the beach, shopping and dining. Lovey yard to relax in. Quiet and safe neighbourhood. House keeper comes twice per week and keeps the place immaculate plus is very helpful. Gardner comes once per week and takes great care with yard work.

Urlaub mit Freunden

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub. Haben viel gesehen und erlebt. Mit den hiesigen Bussen kommt man fast ĂŒberall hin. Das ist gut organisiert. Wir waren 2 Wochen auf Barbados. Die erste Woche in Oistins. Die zweite Woche in Holetown. Die Unterkunft liegt gut zu Fuß zum Strand.Im Folkstonepark kann man gut picknicken aber auch Essen und GetrĂ€nke kaufen. Ein schöner Urlaub

Wow, awesome

What a great find. 5 minutes to the sea and a lovely beach. 10 minutes from the local grocery store. Less than 5 minutes to nice restaurants - Thai, Italian, Sushi, Indian. The house keeper was wonderful and kind. Same for the property manager. I’ve already booked my return visit to this place.

Great Stay at Mango House !!

We had a great stay and vacation at this place. The location is fantastic as we were very close to be able to walk to the beach, also near an upscale mall and a large grocery store and gas station were just down the road. It is also helpful that there were 2 banks/ATMs very close by. You can tell the owners take pride in their unit because the house was very clean, cozy and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It was like a home away from home. The kitchen is well stocked to do your cooking but there are also restaurants in walking distance to enjoy a meal. There is a nice patio to sit and relax and enjoy the cool breeze in the evening. The beds were nice and comfy. AC units worked well but most of the time we had the windows open because the house gets a nice breeze and that was good for us. I felt very safe and secure in the area. The area was also peaceful and quiet. Even though I had rented a car I could have opted to take the transport bus somewhere like Bridgetown because we were very close to the bus stop (about a 1 min walk to the main road). Next time I am in Barbados I will definitely stay at this property again.

February 2022 at Mango House

I had a very nice stay for a month at Mango House. The back yard is lovely and frequently visited by green monkeys looking to eat the ripe mangoes. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the grocery store. The house is well maintained and very comfortable. The bedrooms have air conditioning units, but I did not use the AC during my stay; the ceiling fans were sufficient. There is some vehicle noise during the day from the nearby main road, but I found it to be not an issue at night. The neighborhood rooster announces the dawn each day.

Covid-19

Mango House is ideally located, close to all amenities and beach in Holetown. Very comfortable and well equipped. Unfortunately, due to the outbreak of Covid-19 our stay was severely cut short. We thank Lynn, the owner, for all her support and help during this unprecedented time. We look forward to returning to Mango House at a better time soon.

Beautiful spot

What a great vacation starting with Mango House.The pictures do not do it justice.The back patio looks out to a gorgeous yard with mango trees,birds of paradise,and a variety of palm trees.Wonderful place for early morning coffee and evening cocktails.The house is only minutes away from the beach and bars.Would definitely recommend.

A great stay in a lovely bungalow

We cannot fault this property and felt very at home. There was only two of us so we really appreciated the amount of space . Everything was totally clean and very comfortable. The garden was lovely .Property security was also very comforting. The only minor gripe with this house is the high level of road noise ,but this only indicates how good its situation is in relation to the beach and Holetown centre. We highly recommend this property.

Mango house is a lovely property with everything you require for your holiday. It's only a short distance from the beach. It felt secure and secluded whilst being near all the amenities. Would definately stay again.
