Clean, quiet, comfortable room that has enough space and stunning views. Bed was a little hard but we got used to it and ended up liking it. Water pressure and temperature in the shower were terrific. Staff were efficient and polite. Great location in Causeway Bay close to buses, trains, shops, and restaurants. Good value and would stay again.

I expected a small room which is common in Hong Kong but this is the first time ever that I had to go shopping for my own towels while staying at a hotel. The ones provided by the hotel were translucent. So thin and sheer that they were useless. Overall, the rate was very affordable so I guess I was Ok to buy my own towels (but I really shouldn’t have to!) the staff was friendly and helpful. And the location is great.

Everything was good. Except the biggest thing for me the bed… woke up went for a long walk and my back is destroyed. I’m a young guy so I would say overall everything was good around a 4/5 except the bed making it a 2/5

The room is small, old, uncomfortable. The pricing is predatory -- I needed to stay 1 extra day, and they charged me 3X my original rate. Sure, I understand the "demand pricing" but in this case they didn't even try to see my perspective of feeling trapped as I was settled in my room and little vacancy around the neighborhood. Sure, they didn't cheat me, but I feel bad about this hotel. I will not hesitate to identify their other shortcomings. This is really an awful hotel and the nearby Holiday Inn express is much better and usually for comparable price. Another shortcoming is the immediate neighborhood feels like a slum. You enter at ground level and have to go up to a 3rd floor old musty lobby to check-in. Have I mentioned this was a bad experience?

Room keeper seems like can not understand English. Difficult to communicate. When I was in the bathroom, she came in to my room suddenly. It was so surprise 😳 I said from bathroom “hello I don’t need cleaning my room” three times but no response, I had no alternative, but after I out the bathroom, I said ones again, she frowned her face and went out from my room without any apologize. Except this, hotel was good basically.

Good Location, But Serious Maintenance Issues Rating: 2/5 The location is excellent – right in the city center, close to the MTR and very convenient for tourist spots, shopping, and dining. The room and bathroom are very small, but manageable for a short stay. However, several unacceptable issues ruined the experience: • shower curtain that billows inward and sticks to the body during showers. • Water leaking from the bathroom ceiling, dripping onto the vanity – I had to request towels to mop it up. • Persistent musty smell in the room (likely from the leak), forcing me to buy air freshener. While the location is a big plus for budget travelers, the hygiene and maintenance problems make it hard to recommend. Hope management fixes these soon.
