Hot Springs stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Doland House this past weekend. The house was comfortable, convenient annd everything is Hot Springs was in walking distance. The host was amazing and gave us some great recommendations. We will definitely stay here again, we enjoyed it very much!!

Awesome home in center of town

We had 6 adults an 2 children and still had plenty of room. House is directly next to main road in town and sometimes it's noisy if you're on the porch but on the inside its very quiet, you don't hear any outside noise.Home was very clean and well stocked with nearly anything you need during your stay. Washer and dryer, dishwasher, all dishes and cooking utensils, towels, wash rags even shampoo and body wash.Just bring yourself and food as that's all you'll need. Good location, close to everything in town. Would definitely stay again.Melanie is your contact and is very nice, helpfull and available if you need her.Thanks again Melanie for everthing.

Gravel bike race at Hot Springs

We stayed here for my sons, gravel, bike race, which was held at the Hot Springs resort, and we’re so grateful to find a place that was walking distance to the resort. There was a front porch that you could see the riders go down the street and close in town to everything.

Weekend Get Away

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay the Dorland Cottage. Everything was within walking distance. The cottage is apart of Hot Springs history; it is quaint and relaxing, especially sitting on the front porch. We plan on coming back.

Outstanding option in Hot Springs

Fabulous cottage, perfectly located in Hot Springs. Great place to stay and enjoy the town, the A-T, the river, the Resort/Spa. Walking distance to everything and plenty of space for family and friends to spread out. We'll definitely stay at Dorland Cottage on future trips!

PERFECT LOCATION IN HOT SPRINGS NC

The location was perfect to enjoy the AT town of Hot Springs. Within walking distance to everything in the town. Communications with the host was easy and the host was very accommodating. Would recommend this location for a stay in the area.

Most convenient stay in Hot Springs

Went for 80's weekend & the house is walkable to everything! Love the vintage craftsman style. Despite being close to the main street it is quiet & the off street parking is a plus. Kitchen is stocked well & dining room is a great gathering place for food or board/card games. Would definitely rent again!

Great spot for enjoying downtown Hot Springs!

We were able to walk to restaurants, shopping and Hot Springs Spa from the house. Nice views of the fall colors and a great front porch for relaxing. The dining room table was perfect for an evening of games.

The property is in the center of the town and easy accessible. The house itself and appliances as well as rooms, kitchen looked older than they were seen in the advertised picture. The max occupancy listed as 8. We rented for 2 and when we arrived the upstair access was locked. The first floor was kind of smelling moldy. I understand there was a $60 additional charge for more than 2 people staying. But I would rather paid $60 extra and stay in the upstairs room if the ad said you will not be allowed upstairs if you rent it for two people. We renter for two nights but we only stayed for a night because it was kind of smelling mold on the first floor. When we checked in, the neighbor came to inform us her brother will need to come and change the air filter and he did.

Hiking Haven

This house is a great place to relax after hiking the Appalachian Trail! We section hiked the trail around Hot Springs and enjoyed all the bars and restaurants downtown. All were just a short walk from the house!!
