Clean cabins in a beautiful area

The location is very nice. Twenty five minute walk to downtown but only a 3 minute drive. Cabins are very well maintained and clean. Overall we really loved this place and recommend it.

Super beautiful place, excellent views and the pool is a definite plus. But, the temperature in our room was freezing and the front desk was not too responsive when we asked for help. I had to call multiple times. Finally I just walked in and asked to speak with the manager. (It turns out the thermostat was broken.) The young women at the front desk need more training. They don't have answers to basic questions (how do I adjust the thermostat and how do I get to the town center?) and seem like they can't be bothered with customer service.

Rustic Charm

This was our first time staying at Tahquitz Pines and we were impressed. I must admit, based on the rate we pre-paid, my expectations were modest. I was happy to find an easy friendly check-in and a comfortable, well appointed room. Its woodsy and somewhat rustic, but in a nice way. We enjoyed the Peak restaurant on site as well. Will return.

Nice retreat in the mountains

This place a beautiful weekend getaway. There are lots of fun things to do on the property and a nice restaurant. Very peaceful and beautifully landscaped. Just a couple of things we didn’t like. The bed was way too soft. You sunk in to it and made it uncomfortable to sleep. The walls were too thin and the first night the people next to us arrived late at night and were making a lot of noise and you could hear the shower hound and banging on the wall. Not the hotels fault but very unpleasant the fist night. Other than that we had a great time and would return again.

Lovely, clean, chic resort in Idyllwild with plenty of things to dio.Beautiful landscaping and nicely outfitted cottage. Very comfortable bed! We celebrated our anniversay and enjoyed eating at The Peak - the restaurant at the resort. Also, the bar is excellent! We got drinks to go and sat at one of the fire pits enjoying the evening with our dog Titus. He also enjoyed the resort. First time, but not the last. We will be back!
