"Strawberry Creek Inn is a cute place to stay in Idyllwild. I enjoyed the lovely property and the stream that runs behind it. Our room (Ember Lodge) was roomy with nice decor. We had a fridge & microwave. The shower had good water pressure & stayed hot. Loved the soap and lotion they provided and there were plenty of towels. Some things could use improvement: The bed pillows were awful & there's no closet. The sofa & chair in the living room were not comfortable. There was no complimentary bottled water & no ice machine. There is NO bolt to lock the main door from the inside (did not feel safe.) The last step going down the stairs to the creek is too steep. The lobby office opens rather late. We were told we could get ice from the Idyllwild Inn property, but when I stopped by the next morning (close to 8am), they were still closed."
