Check in was seamless, our room was spacious but dark. Loved the ducks surrounding the property, but the blue dye they pump into the pond & fountains was gross. They were in the midst of repainting the entire property which was a bit smelly.

Waited in line to check in over half an hour. We had to ask if anyone was going to check us in. After talking to the front desk, the room wasn’t ready. I was told that room would be ready by 4:30. I visited the front desk and they stated it wouldn’t be ready until 6-6:30 pm and they would text me. I waited in the lobby at 5:30 pm for them to text me. 6:15 pm, they stated that my room was ready and I asked why didn’t they notify me. Went to the room, there were other guest in that room. We had to drag our luggage down a flight of stairs. (Note: no elevators at this resort). By this time, they upgraded our room but we did not get to our room until 7pm.

Overall decent place but have a $40 dollars daily fee on top of the room price which is weird. They also charged me for a parking a day and I didn’t even have a car. I have noticed it after and sent several emails for a refund and no one returned to me. Make sure to check your receipt before leaving the facility.

We love saying here . But apparently they got a new general manager and the pools were dirty , and the ponds smelled horrible ! That needs to be worked on other than that it was great .

First of all, the resort building and grounds are beautiful — truly stunning. However, that’s where the positives end. The room was dirty, and the sheets had visible stains. The next day, housekeeping never came, and we had to request service ourselves. The pool area was disappointing as well — the cabanas were filthy, and there was no bar open at all. If you book through Expedia or similar platforms, be aware that the hotel will still charge you an additional $50 per day for pool service and a resort fee. The restaurant was another letdown — the food was poor, and the staff seemed underqualified. To top it off, the adult pool was closed for a private event without any notice to guests. Aren’t we guests too? Such a disappointing and frustrating experience.

Dreadful attitude employee at check in

We love coming here with family. However on 07/19 and 08/16, on check in, I had to deal with Adriana at the front desk. She was indifferent, no welcoming of us as guests, and had a bad attitude. She couldn’t even make eye contact. With a pleasant and upbeat manner, we asked about the guy with the welcoming mimosas. She said “he’s not here.” Jose was great and full of positive energy and he helped us out nicely. Later, when we came back she was happily giving out mimosas. She could have been doing that earlier. She could have been much more helpful and welcoming, and she was not!
