Beautiful property, spoilt by generally poor service (with one or two exceptions) from staff who do not look happy or want to give good service, hidden charges with a 4% fee on every purchase (supposedly to cover wages but is not a gratuity…so just put it on your prices instead of holding it) and terrible value (for the quality) buffet breakfast. Cashless business but doesn’t state so upfront on Expedia or check in, leaving a very awkward situation on checkout. Hyatt may have won on this occasion with their hidden charges and ‘get away with as little as possible’ service, but I won’t book a Hyatt anywhere again

Was definitely “resortish” but was way oversold to make it a real vacation . Overly crowded pools, major waits for coffee in the cafe and completely booked out eateries. A “welcome area” that is embarrassing for any international hospitality company. Imagine a pop up camping bathroom privacy tent in some tucked away room. Fantastic for business but definitely makes you regret the travel for a staycation. Way too expensive for the hassle. Management should understand quick money over a long weekend is not the branding you want for the long term. Hyatt should have a realistic resort capacity since at least the room capacity is a known. Wish I had better memories.

Overall, this property is an excellent family destination with great amenities like the pools, waterslide, and lazy river. We stayed in the villas as a party of seven and had a great experience. There was plenty of room for everyone and the private patio area is a big bonus. However, the poolside service experience was disappointing. The staff were not particularly friendly, and the service could have been better. On multiple occasions, our towels were removed from our chairs after being away for less than 30 minutes, causing us to lose our seats. This was frustrating and happened more than once. The ground of the property are beautiful and well kept. The location is close to many dining and shopping places.

Great staff, but issues.

Though our room was nice, we had an issue with the sliding door to the patio and air conditioning. It took two calls and 2+ hours of waiting to get it fixed. The engineering team was quick to fix once they arrived and they were apologetic and did great! I’m not sure what was going on but the entire resort was completely chaotic on Saturday. Kids running amok with little to no parent supervision, loud, people leaving their barking dogs in their rooms. $600 to stay one night, I expected it to be relaxing. Amenities were great overall, except for the overpacked pool/waterpark area…felt like a daycare nightmare. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. And the shower head fell on both my wife and son’s heads because it wasn’t properly supported. The good: great gym and outdoor facilities, and the staff could not have been more incredible! My rating is not a reflection on them whatsoever.
