We only stayed one night at Black Friars and wished we had more. The room was cosy and clean and the bed was super comfortable. The staff was very personable and helpful. This was one of our favorite stays of our trip.

We left a pillow in our initial stay but contacted them and they held it for me until we returned which we appreciated. Really good bar and restaurant downstairs and friendly staff. We were able to keep our luggage with them after checkout before leaving for train station. Very accommodating.

This is not a 4 stars hotel. Maximum 6 poor rooms on top of a restaurant The only thing in favour is the bathroom which was recently refurbised

Small room over the pub. Very loud road noise. Floor slanted and sides of bed collapse due to so many people having to sit on the bed because there is only one chair. Overall, clean and safe but I would try someplace else if I were to come to Inverness again.
