Gorgeous tower house with incredible ocean views and a private pool

Stunning ocean view home. This gorgeous 6 bedroom beach house with newly added 6th bedroom in Guest suite in backyard, designed by renowned architect Michael Spivey, is like having a private resort on Palm Boulevard. Open floor plan, 2 floors of wrap-around decks, gourmet, state-of-the-art kitchen, elevator, secluded backyard pool/spa retreat, bocce court, cabana, separate pool you could possibly want in a perfect beach house.

This 6 bedroom/5.5 bath (1 bed and 1 bath of which located in Guest suite in backyard), home with private pool (which can be heated in mild temperatures for a fee. The home features such amenities as multiple porches, gas grill, wireless internet, and much more. Bedding will include three bedrooms with King-sized beds, one bedroom with 2 Queen beds with Full XL bunks above, and one bedroom with 2 Twin XL beds.

The first floor has the bulk of the bedrooms. Upon entering the home is a bedroom on the left with a private bath and private porch, while on the right is a first floor master suite that share access to a porch. Two bedrooms share a bath, with one of the bedrooms sharing access to a porch with the first floor master.

The main living areas are located on the second floor. There are two porches located off the living room, which opens on the dining area which offers deck access. The dining area is open to the kitchen which offers additional seating at the bar. There is also a half bath. The master suite is located on this floor also. The master suite boasts a private porch and master bath with separate tub and shower.

Pool and Spa can be heated for an additional fee of $1000/week (2 week advance notice required).Or Spa only can be heated for a fee of $500/week (2 week advance notice required). (Rates cannot be pro-rated for shorter stays in off season due to lower water temps and gas tanks needing to be refilled)

*The home is setup with one main cable box for Living room TV. The rest of the bedrooms, cabana, and guest suite us Smart TV's with an Xfinity app (instead of cable box) on all of them to provide standard cable which included multiple sports channels. Apps are also available on all tvs to sign into your own personal streaming accounts to access more content. *

Rentals are stocked with small ‘starter packs’ that include: toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, dishwashing soap, and dishwasher detergent.

Family Get Together

Good size house across the street from the beach. Looks beautiful, unfortunately our stay wasn't as pleasant as expected. A couple of dirty towels on the floor when we first entered, but at first didn't think much of it. Primary reason we chose the house was for the pool and hot tub. The pool was filthy and in no shape for anyone to swim in it. It was finally cleaned after numerous calls but not handled well. We were not able to use the pool for half our stay. The management company stated there were known issues with the pool company. A bit frustrating to hear they knew and did not nothing prior to our check-in. Once the pool was cleaned the hot tub ran into issues and that took another day. We hoped to be hanging by the pool everyday, but only had one day to do so.

Great house with even better views!

The house was EXACTLY as pictured - the amenities were superb and our group loved being such a close walk to the beach. If we had any questions the response time was extremely fast as well - would definitely return to IOP!

Wonderful property, not well outfitted

This is an extremely comfortable beach house for a group of adults. We thoroughly enjoyed being right across the street from the beach and having the sunny pool area in the afternoons. The Island Realty management team was also great to work with. We were disappointed that the house was not well appointed with many of the things one would expect in a higher-end beachfront rental property. There are no beach towels, no beach chairs, very limited cleaning supplies, limited bath towels, limited / low-quality soap and shampoo, no cooking oils and limited spices etc. We flew in from out of state so bringing many of these items was not something we had thought to do. There is also not a first aid kit. Additionally, there is a Sonos system which we eventually got to work but not in all rooms. Instructions would have been helpful. I would encourage the owner to be more thoughtful in providing the essentials and nice-to-have items for future guests. Otherwise, great house, great location!

Great Stay for Friend Group Getaway!

We had an excellent stay at the property! It was exactly as it looked in the photos, and it was beautiful and spacious. The location was perfect - a short walk to the beach, but right inside a lovely neighborhood, with a shopping center in walking distance. It was a 25 minute ride into Charleston. Check-in and check-out process was easy, and we had great communication regarding having our hot tub heated. We comfortably fit a group of 11. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for a group getaway

We had a great time in this rental. Plenty of space for our group and the property was beautiful with an ocean view. Communication was great and although our hot tub heater didn’t work, they sent a maintenance man immediately and then refunded us for the price to heat it. Over all it was a perfect weekend thanks to the house and we would definitely return.

Hurricane vacation? No thank you

We were very disappointed in our interaction with Island Realty for our VRBO vacation rental. The week that our trip was scheduled, Hurricane Ian was predicted to make landfall on the coast of South Carolina, and our vacation rental was in the direct path of the hurricane. Island Realty insisted that our reservation was still on and indicated that we should come down for the weekend even though the forecast was for 5-8” of rain and storm surges of 5 feet. We made the decision not to travel because despite the nonchalant attitude of Island Realty, the local and state governments declared a state of emergency and discouraged travel to the area. Hurricane Ian hit the exact area of our rental and flooding, road closures and power outages occurred. We are seeking a refund for our trip through the trip insurance company because Island Realty declined to offer a reschedule or a refund. Extremely disappointing.
