Room had not been cleaned before us. We found long black hairs in the towels, and when we went to use the toilet we found unflushed poop inside. We immediately left. Absolutely disgusting.

This is a great location, BUT........ This area has a lot of hills leading to the main areas and transportation. If you are on the overweight side like me, prepare for a severe workout or simply call an uber. I mean, San Francisco has NOTHING on the steepness of these streets. Staff was amazing and very attentive. Rooms are dated but clean. Great value for the money.

My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The room was small and dirty, and there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom. When I told the receptionist that the bedsheet was very dirty, he just said, “Here is Istanbul,” instead of trying to help or fix the problem. I felt very uncomfortable and disappointed with the service. I do not recommend this hotel.

The property is located on a narrow hilly road. Access has 3 narrow steps and our room was on 3rd floor with no lift and therefor checking-in 5am with no reception and with a big suitcase was challenging. The AC was leaking in the middle of the night. Definitely not suitable for older people like us. Staff was very cooperative and well behaved. Walkable distance to Sultan Ahmad, convenient location.

Really cheap compared to the size of the apartment. Super friendly staff and the stay was excellent. I would highly recommend it for people who are looking for hotels or apartments around this price.

The best parts of this hotel are the staff and the location. The staff is friendly, efficient and professional. The location looks like the rest of that little are, it is chaotic but safe and easy access to the main important sites. The hotel is a small cheaper hotel but it was spotless and with food linens and bed. It defending could use some repairs and renovations but not enough to make it uncomfortable. I was in a budget and this hotel was great in my price range a delivered as promised.

5 Stars – Outstanding service and hospitality Once again, everything was absolutely perfect during our stay at Aspargus Hotel. I would book here again without hesitation. From the moment of booking, the team was incredibly helpful, and their service remained exceptional throughout our entire stay. The host is genuinely warm, attentive, and available at any time – even late at night, they were just a call away. On our departure day, they even arranged a taxi for us, making the checkout smooth and stress-free. What truly stood out this time was how respectfully and thoughtfully we were approached after unintentionally disturbing the night’s peace during our visit with our friends. Despite the inconvenience caused to his other guests, the way the matter was addressed was nothing but professional, kind, and understanding – something I deeply value. Thank you again for another great experience. We’ll be back!
