The location is unbeatable. My room was a little small but bathroom was really small. AC fan was too noisy. Staff was kind and valet service was really cheap & convenient. Breakfast was satisfactory. Pool at the roof is tiny but it was a lifesaver at the heat of the day. Price vs what you get is fair I think. I can definitely stay again.

We always stay at the hotel in Istanbul as the staff is nice and the location is perfect for overnight traveling. My only dissatisfaction is that the offer paid upgrades, meaning that there are rooms available, however we have never been upgraded as a VIP Expedia member.

The Property has a different design and is well kept. The room where we stayed was on the rotating tower, it spins around providing you with different views. Breakfast is amazing with many selections to choose from. The cons…. We felt in a Motel instead of a 5 Star Hotel. Staff is scarce. Upon our arrival after a long motorcycle ride, we went to the sea to cool off and watch the sunset. Although they have a bar by the sea (BTW no sand beach, but rock’s cliff), service is offer until 7:00 PM Sunset now is about 9:00 PM. While they say CLOSED, the staff was drinking and smoking, while we were thirsty. We moved to the pool looking for something to drink, a long walk to the cafeteria bar. At 11:30 PM we got a call advising us that someone was on the way to the room to collect money o CC for the drinks by the pool. We just simply opted to spend our time in Antalya out of the hotel just to avoid more frustrations. The worst part of all, I paid top money for a 5 Star hotel, just to get a mediocre service with a hotel nearly empty.

Had a great stay at Marmara Pera Hotel. The place was clean, well-maintained, and the breakfast had plenty of good options. Staff were kind and responsive—we even got a free upgrade to the top floor with an amazing view. Only downside was the language barrier, as few staff spoke English, but overall a great experience.

7 night stay, great location

We had a room on the 11th floor overlooking the city and the river. The room was very spacious and on arrival there were some sweets for us. Complimentary water daily and tea and coffee. There were just two downsides, the first was if you open the window at night it was just too noisy to sleep, nothing the hotel can do about it just one to be aware of. The second is the bath, the shower was fab, hot and great pressure but, it is within a bath and the side of the bath was much higher than a standard bath and as such climbing in and out was done carefully. The main restuarant in the hotel is fine dining and not one for regular meals. Pera 77 is also on the higher end so great for the odd night only. Breakfast is excellent and is served in the Pera 77. Such a wide variety and omelet station.

Overall, I really liked this property. If I had two negatives, they would be 1) " Only one chair in a superior-class room while there is a table for two" 2) Not that I watch much TV when I am on vacation but having only two English-speaking channels ( one of which is CNN and the is DW, a European CNN-like channel). Make sure to bring your computer and Netflix password so you can stream. Otherwise, this is a great hotel, excellent breakfast, 100 feet from Istikal Street, close to historical sites, and excellent transport, next door to a pharmacy, and near-by local stores to purchase cold drinks. Enjoy!!

The main reason I booked this place was for the swimming pool—but it was closed, which was extremely disappointing. On top of that, there were window repairs going on, with loud noise and workers around, leaving me with no privacy. This was not the relaxing stay I expected.
