Don’t stay here. Absolutely disgusting. From the front desk to the wallls to the room key not working and it being scorching hot in the hallways. Wouldn’t eat a thing from anything in there. Bathroom drop ceiling above the showers completely falling literally dropping from above our heads. Huge rip off

The rooms could be cleaner but I found dust and in my first room there was cockroach. Sofas were dirty and too old I couldn’t sit on the sofa and rest. Coffe maker was broken and didn’t work. But in general it was not bad and staff were friendly and helpful.

The furniture and carpets are worn, smelly, and dirty. One of the elevators is broken. Marks line the hallway walls and doors, which are chipped and the handles were tilted toward the ground, as if broken. The door jiggled horribly in the frame as we tried to get the key card to work. It took several minutes of trying. Once the light turned green, still couldn’t get the handle to release, so we had to turn the handle back and try again. Fridge was warm. We informed the front desk, and when we returned over 4 hours later, it was still warm, yet it was obviously a different one. Reported it again and were informed that we could just keep the medication in the fridge behind the desk. We said that this wasn’t acceptable because it was for diabetes had to be administered without delay. At this time, also let them know that the door handle was broken, as was the toilet fill valve, so the toilet wasn’t flushing. After being gone 10 hours, fridge was working, but the door handle and toilet hadn’t been fixed. Also didn’t have fresh washcloths. Went down to the desk to ask for some and were informed that there were none to be given and some rooms hadn’t gotten any linens. Remainder of the stay did not get better, as the door and toilet were never fixed and housekeeping stopped taking care of the room on the last two days, so the room never had bed linens changed or made, no fresh towels, no trash emptied, and no vacuuming.

We were very disappointed with the condition of the pool. The water was cloudy. The photos are completely different from reality. Breakfast, completely different from the photos presented on the hotel website. Plastic cutlery, paper plates and paper cups. The lady in charge in the dining room not very nice. The room keys did not work properly, we had to ask for re-coding every day because we could not enter the room. No door to the wardrobe, double room but only one chair at the table, telephone not working, fridge not working well because the milk went bad after 2 days. Very comfortable bed and great pressure in the shower.

The staff is very attentive, the hotel is located in a good neighborhood and there is buses that goes to New York on the street of the hotel. But perhaps because it is an old building, it needs renovation. The room we stayed in needed repairs to the light, the door lock, the curtains did not close properly and the air conditioning was noisy.

As one that arrived late to the property because of a four hour delay, the night manager was the best person of all. I had a very loud AC and it was not cooling. After I put the request in the front desk the following morning, it was still not working. They changed my room, and the second one was great with AC but the bathroom had a leak at the entrance. Once again the night manager was very accommodating and allowed me to get another room. Though it was a “window” ac unit, it worked, just at and near the bedroom side. I have been a guest at this location for various years, and I think that this property needs and update

I booked this hotel for four night stay with my mom and my sisters. I’ll start off by saying that the Customer service was amazing. The front desk staff was great with answering our questions and providing us directions. The bus stop is right across the hotel so we were able to hop on one bus ride into New York City, which is very convenient. However, the hotel is Completely rundown. The door to our room was literally broken in half with a massive crack in front of it, There was mildew and mould in the showerhead, They were stains all over the furniture. I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody. You can get a better value for your money any other stays close by. I wish I could post pictures to this review so show how dirty this place was. I would not recommend and would not stay there again.

The condition of the property is below average. They have two elevators for 8 floors and one was out of order since my check in and check out. There was a long waiting to get into the Elevator and that takes the time as well. Carpets in room were very old and smells. Breakfast was the same repetition everyday. The only positive is the location and easy access to Timesquare and city vibe. Overall I do not recommend this stay.

When I walked in the first thing, I see is a sign at the front desk that says the front desk phone does not work. I knew right away that was going to be an issue as how could this be acceptable in a hotel? I booked online ahead of time and said it would be before guest. I get to the room and only have three towels couldn’t call the front desk to ask for more so went downstairs and was told we don’t have any and no one will be here until 9 AM! The bathroom is terrible. Paint was coming off. I wouldn’t have put a homeless person in this place never again lesson learned it was just a one night stay I needed for my daughter’s graduation and thank God it was only for one night or I would’ve definitely canceled and found somewhere else to stay. They have to do better La Quinta some upgrades need to be made to your facilities immediately.

Booked this hotel bc it had a pool so my kid could splash around a little before a trip to American Dream Mall. Pool was broken. Elevator broken. Room had a dirty feel. House keeping doesnt come unless u request it. One guy at front desk, couldnt be bothered. Breakfast included, but was literally gross. Really was horrible. I’d spend the extra money and stay somewhere nicer. . Only plus was location.
