Nice place to spend a short vacation

The apartment is nice and cozy neighborhood is safe and clean close to New York and all the buses the owner responds to requests fast. I will recommend.

Cute spot. Little far from the main NYC core, but it was close to some very robust bus systems. Place was comfortable and well-furnished. The NYC skyline was also a very short walk from the apartment, and it was gorgeous. The host was also very communicative. If you are seeking to visit NYC while saving money, and you're okay with a decent 45 minute public transit to get into/out of the city, it's a great spot. Only issue is that the couch (which functioned as our second bed) was not in great shape, and in need of repair. The extendable, pull-out side of the bed would collapse under minimal pressure. Therefore, sleeping on it definitely wasn't the most comfortable experience. There was also a lack of quality pillows. Unfortunately, both of these factors led to some uncomfortable sleeps - especially for whoever was on the couch. In all, though, the place is quality. Good, and would be great with some repairs to the couch and better pillows.
