We had a really pleasant stay at Hyatt House Johannesburg. The hotel is modern, clean, and feels well looked after. One of the biggest positives is the location—being so close to the shopping mall makes everything incredibly convenient, whether you need food, essentials, or just want to wander around without travelling far. Breakfast was genuinely good, with a solid range of options and fresh food that set the day off well. The whole experience felt easy, comfortable, and well-suited for both short stays and longer visits. A dependable, welcoming place that makes travelling in Johannesburg feel effortless.

I don't understand how Hayatt would put its name on a place like this. the place is in desperate need of upgrade. the sink in the bathroom is unusable, I've seen bigger sinks in airplanes. The staff was great and helpful and is the only reason I didn't give the place a 1 star.

We needed a safe quiet place to stay when my son was in the hospital and this was the perfect place. The staff were warm and caring. It felt good to come back after a long day at the hospital to a peaceful and warm environment. It is walking distance to a very nice mall with many restaurant options or the food at the hotel is also very good.
