I had read reviews prior to booking and was very misled! This property is in need of a lot of work. I couldn’t wait to leave. Landlord specials everywhere from the patched up bathroom floors to ceilings. No where to even hand the one towel I got. Dispensers were poorly stocked. First room they gave me, air con didn’t work so they moved me to one that worked. Too much to mention but writing this review so other folks don’t actually believe the reviews that say it’s modern. It’s not. I didn’t see any other customer there so maybe I was the only sucker. Ride from and to the airport went well though. That was the only plus.

Excellent shuttle service. Contacted them ahead and it worked nice and smoothy, both to and from the airport. Staff were quite noisy in the corridors and this is one thing that could be easily improved. Comfortable bed, nice breakfast, bathroom was sufficient for needs.

Our Journey To South Africa

It was a long flight from California to Johannesburg, South Africa over 20 hours in the air. When our plane had landed, a staff from Vista ORT was present holding up a sign with my name Yukiko on it. He had a big wide smile and said welcome I will be driving you back to the hotel. Late in the evening we arrived about 7:00pm. After checking in at the front desk he then carried our luggage to our room where we slept, and breakfast would be served in the morning at 7:00 am. The bed had futon blankets and was very warm. In the morning, we were blessed to have birds singing. Everyone was warm and friendly; I felt just like being at home. The breakfast was served with hot, food that they brought to us, my milk was warm which I really much enjoyed. Everywhere was safe and the shuttle driver would take us and bring us back. Suggestions were made of our surroundings, and a guide would always be with us sharing education and knowledge. The days were inviting with sunshine and when we were not at Vista ORT we were sightseeing and enjoying our vacation in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Very clean, modern room and furnishings. Quiet, secure and easy access to the airport. Transport was included and on time both to and from for my stay. Great hot breakfast. I've been in Joburg many times. This was the most attentive, cheerful staff I've experienced. I definitely recommend it!

It is a decent and modern place, the only thing they need to improve is the service for breakfast or havae a buffet option. The front desk also needs to advise of the complimentary airport shuttle that needs a booking 24 hours prior, we were never informed

Great option for spending a night by the airport before a flight. Complimentary transportation provided and good communication from staff to coordinate. Thalami, our driver was very professional and nice. Room is simple but has what you need.

Amazing place to stay in JNB

Had an amazing experience from the time I checked in until I left. Tencen ensured that my stay was exceptional, the environment was really quite, the rooms were neatly tied up and full breakfast was 5 star! Welcoming Crew

The crew was busy with a large event but still tried to make me feel as welcome as possible. They went out of their way to make me some dinner and delicious wine. The property is currently under renovation and many exciting things are happening. Extremely quiet and convenient location for anything airport related or also for large events.
