My only complaints were that only one burner on stove worked consistently and the ice maker did not work at all. Would have been nice to know before spending money on breakfast items and I could have gotten ice before my 30 minute trip to cabin from town.
We had a great stay with our golden retriever puppy in the beautiful secluded log cabin! The host was available for anything we needed during our stay. The property was so fun to explore and it was just a short drive away from the town and wineries. There was a burn ban in effect so we couldnât use the fire pit. As a previous review mentioned, enter the log cabin into google maps to find the exact entrance. The address they give you leads you to a separate entrance on the property. The drive entrance is about 2 miles of gravel, so better to have a truck or SUV! Recommend checking in during daylight, otherwise it would be difficult to locate at night.
We loved the location. Secluded and cozy. Exactly what we wanted. Heads up: It is a trip to get to. We got lost multiple times. The road is a rocky dirty road. Tip: Do not use the address given. Instead, on google maps search for the log house.
This was a secluded log cabin located off the beaten path in the beautiful Texas hill country. Everything we needed for the weekend was supplied in the house. The sunset was awsome and the stars were big and bright. Having the ability to explore the property with an ATV is a big plus. We would definitely stay again.
This is a beautiful, peaceful place. The home is located on top of a hill, overlooking a beautiful ranch. The kitchen has the pots/pans/utensils needed to cook basic meals. In the evening, we enjoyed watching for deer and turkey in the field below. And also the hummingbirds chasing each other around the house. The stars at nighttime were amazing and bright. This is a great getaway for those who need a break from the busyness of the city.
