Kona Reef Ocean front Resort sits a few steps away from the Pacific Ocean and a short walk to town, where shopping, dining, beaches, family entertainment and nightlife are all nearby a perfect location for a holiday, honeymoon, or anniversary.
Enjoy beautiful sunset and, if you happen to stay during the peak season - January to March where Humpback whales visit the Hawaiian waters each year you will be able to catch a glimpse of Hawaii's Humpback whales/Dolphins from our Lanai.

Enjoy your morning coffee, or your favorite tropical drink, or a glass of wine while watching and listening to the waves. Hang out by the oceanfront pool and spa, or the beach next door. Enjoy the tropical gardens with beautiful blooming Hibiscus and swaying palm trees.

Swim, surf or sunbath on the white sand beach (Honl's Beach) or hang out by the oceanfront pool and spa. You'll enjoy the famous Hawaiian Breezes in this sought-after end unit with extra windows on the side.

This is a second-floor unit at Kona Reef with only one flight of stairs. Or, guests can use one the elevators thus making this unit easily accessible.

Kona Reef complex is very popular on the well known Alii' Drive and sits back off the main roadway making it very quiet. The only thing you'll hear is the relaxing sounds of the waves rushing ashore.

The unit is recently upgraded with brand new kitchen stainless steel appliances, furnitures in the bedroom, new W/D and 50 inch HDTV in living room with surround sound and Blue Ray player!

Enjoy the Hawaiian Tropical gardens with tables, chairs, and several Barbecue grills. Beautiful blooming Hibiscus and swaying palm trees complete the tropical grounds. Free onsite 'Wi-Fi' is included at no extra cost. Long distance call to US mainland and Canada is free.

Our Oceanview Condo includes all the special extras known to all our properties including beach chairs, small cooler, beach towels, and flash lights if you plan to visit Volcanoes National Park.

SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED Inside the Condo or Outside on the Lanai/Patio of the Condo. Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor smoking areas at the Kona Reef complex.

Nightly Rates do not include tax, cleaning fee, property fee, and damage deposit/insurance fee (as applicable). Sale or Special Rate Offers are only valid for new reservations, and not valid for existing reservations.

Guest access
The entire condo, except 1/2 of the bedroom closet that is locked off as the 'owners’ closet', but there is still plenty of space in the closet for our guests to utilize.

Other things to note
After booking and prior to arrival guests will receive directions to get to the condo, codes to access the condo, 'Wi-Fi' information, and any other pertinent info. regarding your stay.

Checkout Instructions prior to departing the condo: as a minimum place used towels in the Washing Machine and start the Washer to clean the towels, and place all dirty dishes in the Dishwasher and start the dishwasher to clean the dirty/used dishes; and empty all trash and place in the trash dumpsters provided on the complex property.

NOTE:
DURING THE IRONMAN RACE -- MINIMUM STAY OF 10 NIGHTS IS REQUIRED.

Any stays booked that do not meet this requirement are subject to cancellation if the guest does not meet the minimum stay requirement.

3 night vacation
We came down to the Kona area after spending 4 nights in Waikoloa for the Lavaman Triathlon. The condo had everything we needed including an ocean view. The only issues we ran into was the screen door to the lanai did not open easily so we didn’t go out on the lanai much and there were quite a few homeless hanging around on the street right outside the condo.

The Best Ever
This property has an excellent location, a beautiful view and a heated pool. The condo has excellent air conditioning and is newly remodelled with a very comfortable bed and furniture, and stainless steel appliances. It is also well stocked with lots of little extras like quality storage containers for leftovers. Sue is really easy to communicate with and very quick to respond to questions. We can't say enough about how great this property is and how great Sue is.

We were first time visitors to Hawaii and could not have picked a better place to stay. This condo was PERFECT for location- the view from the lanai was AMAZING! The condo was comfortable and welcoming! Within walking distance if you like to ealk, to so restaurants, shopping. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, within easy walking distance of the center of Kona tourist central. Good communication with the host, no issues on checkin. The door unlocked to our code and in we went! We appreciated being able to print-out the parking pass in advance. Thank you for making our stay in Kona easy.

Wonderful spot for Kona adventures.
We had a very good experience with this lovely condo. Everything was just as advertised in the listing. The location can’t be beat, and the property is well maintained. Parking can be a bit challenging at times, but nothing that was too inconvenient. We recommend this spot, and would come back if we ever get back to Kona area.

Amazing condo in Kailua-Kona!
My husband and I stayed 3 nights and wish we could have been there longer. The condo was clean, comfortable, and had an amazing view of the water. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need. The patio is perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning and the bed is super comfortable. Easy walking distance to fun shops, restaurants, bars, and beaches. We will stay here again!! Highly recommend :)

Kona Stay
We stayed in Kona for a week (Feb. 8-15, 2024). This property was as advertised with a great view of the ocean from the deck and living area. The location was excellent in that we could easily walk into town, which we did several times. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was nicely appointed. The entry/exit keypad eliminated the worry of losing a key. The washer and dryer were much appreciated. We were very happy with the condo.
