Gorgeous Kona hillside getaway

From the moment we arrived, Linda and Dan were such gracious and helpful hosts. They welcomed us, got us settled in, and then remained available for anything we needed. The setting was spectacular – a lovely hillside coffee farm integrated witg a bed and breakfast. Birds, frogs, flowers....all gorgeous! And a lovely breakfast with hyperlocal Kona coffee to greet you in the morning!

We absolutely love this bed-and-breakfast! Would recommend it to anyone who wants a peaceful retreat with beautiful views, wildlife and natural surroundings. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts that we’ve had in years and our hosts are helpful, friendly and really have a hidden gem @ The Mango

Mango Sunset was the perfect option for my one-night stay after an evening landing in Kona before driving to the Hilo side of the island the next day. The room was immaculate and comfy, the grounds are absolutely beautiful, communication with staff was easy, and coffee and breakfast were excellent. I would love to stay at Mango Sunset again for multiple days!

This property is a truly gem, in it was the perfect spot for me to rest, re-energize and use as home-base for island adventures! Absolutely Wonderful

Beautiful and clean room, very well designed with a kitchenette and modern design. It felt like I was at a very refreshing and upscale hawaiian escape. Plus, you can't beat that view, any time of day (or night).

A Truly Special Stay at Mango Sunset Bed and Breakfast My recent stay at Mango Sunset Bed and Breakfast was nothing short of exceptional, thanks in large part to the incredible caregivers, Heidi and Dan. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. Each morning, we looked forward to breakfast with genuine excitement. Heidi’s cooking was not only delicious but also unique and thoughtfully prepared—it quickly became one of our favorite parts of the entire trip. You could truly taste the care she put into every dish. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the views—absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to that scenery each day felt like a dream. Heidi and Dan made sure we had everything we needed, checking in regularly and offering plenty of thoughtful recommendations for local spots and hidden gems. Their warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail made us feel right at home. It’s rare to find hosts who are so genuinely kind and dedicated to their guests’ experience.
