There is couple options on the resort but expect to pay little more than going off the resort. We liked that there was luau on the resort. Also there separate pools where the children can enjoy and pool that was adult only. I would recommend this resort. My family had great time!

I enjoyed everything about this place. The room was excellent! We had a beautiful view of property and ocean. The pool was great, we had a lot of fun in the sun. The staff was very friendly and welcomed us with Aloha. This is a wonderful place if either traveling alone or with your family, there's so much to appreciate.

First of all, let me say that the issues I encountered must not be blamed on the staff. As a service industry and hospitality professional myself, I understand that all blame for these kinds of problems comes down from the top. 1. If you're going to give people leis at check-in, it would make sense to at least fake some aloha while doing it. Being handed a lei like it's my credit card receipt is worse than pointless. 2. Is the empty nylon bag I was given just to make sure I have more plastic to discard at the end of my stay? 3. The room was infested with ants. 4. I was accosted by a valet on the way out because I was taking too long with the malfunctioning parking validation system. He grabbed my parking ticket out of my hand and waved i around angrily saying "see!? see!? it works!" Maybe he was trying to help, but shouting angrily and trying to make people feel stupid while rushing them out at the end of their stay is probably not the best way to leave a good memory of your property. Overall it seems like you've got a decent property with zero care given to the guest experience. I also stayed at a motel in Kona for part of my stay. Half the price and the room there was just as nice if not nicer. But, more importantly, the staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the place seemed set up for hospitality.

The check in process was quick! My son loved the free shell necklace. Piko had great meals and al the BEST latte I have ever had. The grounds were so pretty, the pool is amazing, and the fresh pineapple on the pool deck is a great perk!

My husband and I stayed at this resort for a week. They recently renovated it, and were doing some construction during our trip but it had minimal impact on our stay. The front desk staff, house keeping, restaurant staff and person to assist with planning trips were all amazingly friendly and extremely helpful. The staff at the coffee bar were a little less friendly in the mornings. The staff was very accommodating to our needs when asked specific requests. The pools are nice size and warm. The boat rides for the manta rays and dolphin adventures were walkable from the resort. There is a golf course next door that is very nice to play on. I would reccomend bringing your own toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner as the one provided are not the best quality. The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. The luau onsite was very enjoyable. The resort could benefit from some extra resturants. The menu was brand new but with limited options and slightly pricey. Self parking was more than expected at $40 per day. But overall the resort offered options for many other activities onsite and off site. I would stay here again.
