Mountain Traveler Ranch Barndominium

Come on out the Ranch! Our 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment (barndominium) sits atop our working barn at the -MT Ranch. Stop and take in a true Montana experience, watch the horse and calves play in the field and enjoy the steers, horses, and other barn animals. Eenjoy your morning coffee watching the sun come up while the Buffalo are a window view away. You can enjoy your stay without going anywhere but we are conveniently located just minutes to Kalispell, and Flathead Lake. -MT is centrally located between 2 ski resorts Whitefish Mountain and Blacktail Mountain. Take a 36 mile drive to Glacier National Park. Enjoy 360 scenic views of the surrounding mountains in this 2nd story Barndominium. Fully furnished with King bed master and Queen guest rooms and tile and wood floors with granite counter tops. An A/C system in the main living area keeps the warm summer days at bay while a fireplace will keep you toasty in the cooler months. BBQ, hot tub, and firepit are at your disposal during your stay as well. Heading to Glacier National Park? https://www.nps.gov/glac/learn/news/glacier-national-park-2023-vehicle-reservations-open-february-1.htm They have instituted a entry ticket system and start releasing vehicle reservations as early as Feb 1st. Come on out to the -MT Ranch and enjoy your Montana vacation!

We loved the barn. Its close proximity to Glacier National Park, Kalispell, Flathead lake and river made it ideal! This is a working farm so there are all the critters smells and a few flies that come along with it. Having our own farm it felt like home! The beds were very comfortable, nice firm bed with cushion top. The bed slept great! We made dinner several nights at the barn and we loved the island in the kitchen, tons of room to cook and create. The place was very clean and relaxing. We spent 8 days and 7 nights here and since have recommended to our entire family and all our friends. Thank you Sue and Suny for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay that the barndominium! It was such a peaceful location and waking up to the horses and cows was a treat! Unfortunately, we didn't have time to take advantage of the hot tub, but all of the other amenities were great. One tip - bring your own shower stuff (soap, shampoo/conditioner). Overall we had a wonderful stay!

We were in town for a wedding. The location was close to all the places we were wanting to see in a short amount of time. It was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. We loved hearing the cows in the mornings and enjoyed seeing all the animals daily. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful place

We had a great time staying at the Barndominium. Our 4 kids enjoyed all the animals. We explored Glacier National Park each day and relaxed in the hot tub at night. It was perfect for our family.

A photographers paradise

The Barndominium was beautiful. The owners were extremely nice and easy to work with. It is perfectly located between the Bison Range, Flathead lake and Glacier. The surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

This is a beautiful and for the most part up to date place to stay. Very clean and quiet. Comfy king bed. However the smell of cat pee in the living area and bathroom is very potent. Not barn animal smell, cat pee. In my opinion it made the stay not worth the price.

Nice unique place to stay

We loved our time at the Barndominium. Hosts were super nice, communicative, responsive and have a nice ranch. Quiet area away from Kalispell. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was nice, kitchen well suited, even a TV for the football games at night. Would certainly stay again.
