This was a very nice hotel but a bit far from the main Amed areas. If you have a car, definitely recommend the hotel. Best coral before the hotel. The staff was very nice and hotel is clean. The price is a bit off scale for the region that is why possibly there were more staff than customers. The breakfast can be better. Kitchen staff is very skilled.

This is an area of Bali further away from the city. You can still see other tourists wondering, the area is good for diving and exploring. There are restaurants nearby, but no big brands and no Gojek/Grab food delivery. I am a picky eater but I still enjoyed the food at the villa. The staff is friendly and attentive. They seem to appreciate your business. The villa also does motorbike rentals. For bugs, they provide anti-mosquito wicks. I did not get any mosquito bites. There were some caterpillars, but they are harmless. Overall, I would visit this villa again.

The grounds were beautifully kept and rooms were modern and comfortable. We had standard cottages- so not much privacy.. . The staff was a bit rude at times and not as eager to make change/serve food/ or help with baggage. The locals are relentless salespeapole on the beach in front of the property. Not private at all. Every time my son and i went to the beach we were constantly pestered with people asking us questions and ultimately trying to sell us something. It was much more assertive and frequesnt than the other beaches in the area we had stayed at previously. The pool was lovely. They add a service charge to everything, so be prepared to pay extra at check out.

Palm garden was great! Rooms were clean and cleaned daily with great care! Internet worked great. Food was absolutely amazing! The staff are so welcoming and friendly and it’s fun to watch the baits come in and out in the morning!

Perfect location for a quiet getaway!

A lovely boutique resort, tucked away in the Amed region! Its a beautiful resort that is well laid out, facing the ocean. Nice swimming pool. Rooms are clean & spacious, with all the amenities required. The food here is amazing and fresh! The local area is very quaint and feels much more like the Bali of old. Sadly, there was much rubbish & plastics on the beach and in the water, a sign of poor waste management processes. Hoping education will change this.

Nice hotel away from busy Amed streets

The Palm Garden is a very nice resort at the end of Amed's busy streets. Its located on a strip of white sandy beach adjacent to a very cozy pool. The bungalows have a small terrace in the front, a King-size bed and a open-air shower (not sure how practical that is when it is raining). Breakfast was also nice- you are given a menu from which you can pick a set amount of breakfast dishes. All in all, this place was very nice and peaceful after a couple days of intense diving. I would highly recommend it.

A try little oasis of a calm

A try little oasis of calm... until 4.30 am when the cockerels wake up! Genuinely one of the most well thoight out places I've stayed in decades of Indonesian island hopping.

Relaxing Stay

Palm Garden Amed is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are well-kept and the design of each of the buildings are so unique. We enjoyed our stay very much. The breakfast, which is included, was delicious! Definitely don't skip it! The outdoor bathroom was lovely but we didn't quite have enough hot water for two. The hotel is directly on the beach and also has a nice little pool on property. The rooms were cold, even when we turned the AC way down at night, and there was no blanket in the room (only sheets on the bed). The location is actually outside of the town of Amed and is not in walking distance to much - you would need transportation or a driver to go anywhere. Otherwise, we had a great stay and would recommend to others.

The manager, Astawa, is an excellent person focused on quality details from gardens to air con. He worked for several years in Caribbean on cruise ship and Japanese restaurant in USA. His kitchen staff does a great job and his special menu selctions make the difference in choosing similar places here in Amed. Great friendly staff will arrange boats for snorkeling or just cruising and day trips .....
