The bike trail is steps from your front door for hiking, biking and cross country skiing in the winter, walk to Sun Valley Resort's River Run ski lifts, flyfish on the Big Wood River, and indulge in fine dining and entertainment in downtown Ketchum and Sun Valley Village, just a short drive, bike or bus ride away!

This Sun Valley townhome boasts 2,300 sq feet of living space over three levels. The home features a reverse floor plan with the living area on the upper level. Your vacation downtime begins here with comfy sofas and armchairs, a river rock fireplace, and a flat screen TV to watch the game or catch up on your favorite shows.

The custom kitchen is fully-equipped for meals at home with modern stainless steel appliances, and granite counters. With seating for 4 at the breakfast bar and a large dining table, there's room for the whole group to share meals together. In the warmer Sun Valley seasons, you'll find yourself dining alfresco and stargazing from the large, furnished outdoor patio.

Sun Valley Town Home 215A accommodates up to 8 guests in 4 beautifully appointed bedrooms. The master bedroom is on the mid-level of the home and features a queen bed, a quiet sunny seating area for morning meditation, and a private bathroom with a whirlpool tub and separate shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, a private bathroom with a bath/shower combo, and access to a private patio. The remaining two bedrooms are on the ground level of the townhome, one with twin beds, the other with a set of bunk beds.

This Sun Valley vacation townhome offers parking for one car in the garage and one in the driveway with additional parking for guests in off-season months.

Perfect ski home

This home is very well stocked. Heated floors make for a great end to a ski day. The beds are very comfortable. The home was clean upon arrival and you really do feel at home. The location is perfect for a nice walk into town and to Bald Mountain. Communication with the management was a breeze. We can’t wait to visit again!

Sister's retreat

My sister's & I stayed at this VRBO for 2 nights. We had a wonderful time. The place was clean & well organized. The only drawback was the number of times I went up & dow the stairs. So many stairs! We did appreciate having 4 bathrooms for 5 people.

Fun Ski Vacation with Old Friends

We were four guys from Maine, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Texas who enjoyed the chance to ski and catch up in a great location. 215A River Run was a great spot for us and we would recommend it to others.

You Can Stop Looking

We travel every year to a ski destination. I have never been to Sun Valley, so i was trying hard to find a place that was big enough for 5 of us and also close to the mountain. We walked in through the garage to the bottom floor that had a room with bunkbeds, a full bathroom and the washer/ dryer. The second floor had the master, with a large bathroom, 2 sinks, a tub and a shower. The other bedroom on that floor also had its own bathroom. The third floor is where the kitchen, living room and another bedroom and full bathroom are. It was perfect for the 5 of us. There is a short path to walk to the mountain. It takes a total of 10 minutes and since you can store your skis at the base, it made it even easier. The town is less than 1/2 mile up the road, so you feel like you are exactly in the middle of everything you need. You could almost get away without having a car! The restaurants are great and we just really enjoyed the unit and our time in Sun Valley. I would definitely return. The unit has the mountain charm that I love about skiing and the gas fireplace was fantastic. Everything about it was perfect. Thank you so much.

Neglected home, disappointing experience

Our family has rented homes and apartments with VRBO on countless occasions in the U.S. and in Europe, and this was easily the worst VRBO or AirB&B experience we’ve had. Michael the owner seems really well-intentioned. He was communicative when I initially explored a late check-out, and he returned each of my text concerns with a call. That said, his assistance was pretty worthless – he ultimately never helped with any solutions to problems. The home location can’t be beat. 10-15 minute walk to the River Run lodge and lifts. The bad news: the home is run down and poorly maintained. Too many shortcomings to even list, including the most poorly-stocked kitchen we’ve seen, worn-out/stained carpets, awful mattresses, bed frame in the master bedroom has two wooden posts that you can’t lean on, as they’re each falling out, a gas fireplace that you can’t light (to which Michael responded, it’s for show anyway, you don’t need to light it). The list goes on and on. Throughout the house, the owner has left random objects (book on counters, a bike helmet) that we couldn’t tell were meant to be charming or they were just forgotten. In addition to the general state of the place, we had two pretty significant disappointments: 1) Upon arrival, the home had no hot water. Owner apologized and realized he probably should have let us know. After an afternoon, evening and morning of cold showers, the hot water heater was fixed and online for our Day Two. 2) Unfortunately, when the hot water switch was repaired, the owner was unaware that the home thermostats needed to be reset. For that reason, we had no heat for the second day. After exploring solutions on our own (including calling our own contractor back in Colorado), the heat came roaring back on while we were asleep, rending the home boiling hot – awful sleep on Night Two. It probably isn’t helpful to continue a further list of complaints. At the end of the day, we wouldn’t ever stay at this home again at any price. And some people may just want location, and they’ll put up with whatever the experience is. The real shame here is that this is a great location and potential home, and the owner could spend a few thousand bucks and fix nearly everything that’s wrong. Hoping that these comments are taken constructively and that the home is improved for future guests.

Great stay in Ketchum

Home was very comfortable for our family of four. Owner was very responsive and immediately resolved a small issue I had. The path outside was great for walks and getting down to the river with our kiddos. The kitchen is well equipped so making meals was a cinch. The kids also loved the bathtub. Check-in process was easy and simple. Great stay at a great location! We'd love to come back.

Nice combo of Group and Private Space

Great layout, spacious common areas and private sleeping areas. Nice to have a separate bath for each bedroom. Perfect location with walk to town and walk to lifts convenience.
