Many of the most popular vacation rental websites have been infiltrated by more and more con artist that advertise properties and take payments/reservations for properties that do not exist. Also, many private owners throughout the keys are operating illegal vacation rentals in areas not zoned to allow for rentals of less than 28 days. This is an activity that the county is aggressively cracking down on for a variety of reasons. Owners that are caught by Code Enforcement face steep fines and are required to immediately stop advertising and cancel all of their reservations.
So, to insure you have the peace of mind in knowing that you are dealing with a legitimate vacation rental manager and will not become the next victim of internet fraud, finding yourself stranded in the keys without a place to stay or reserve from an owner that is running an illegal rental. It is imperative that you make sure the owner/manager you ultimately rent from is licensed by both Monroe County as well as The State of Florida Division of Hotels and Restaurants.

Pest Control is one of my top priorities since all properties located in this tropical environment are vulnerable to becoming infested with roaches, ants, and spiders. Nothing will ruin a family vacation faster than having to share your unit with these unwelcome guests. That is why all my units are treated and inspected on a regular basis by a Professional Extermination Company.

Since ALL vacation rentals in Key Largo are privately owned, they are decorated and maintained based on the owner's taste and budget. The range varies from new and modern to outdated and worn-down. The property was perfect for a family getaway. We were six adults plus two tall teenagers. The inside of the townhouse was very clean. The community was also very nice and clean. The place worked for our family. The only downfall was not having a working sleeper sofa. There was a cot and a foldable foam mattress as a substitute. We made it work.

We had a really wonderful stay at the property. The place is very clean, very well maintained and came equipped with everything we needed. The pool and facilities are perfect. The only complaint (and it is super minor) is that there isn’t a beach close by so we travelled a good distance to find one, not that we minded since it meant we got to explore the Keys.

Took a group of guys to go down for relaxation and fishing. Resort was perfect for relaxing. Condo itself was excellent and the heated pool and grotto were well used. If you choose to fish there is ample opportunity with local charters and the one day it rained we visited several local breweries. Perfect getaway.

A comfortable family location

We stayed at the property for my 65th birthday. Great location and great house to stay in for us as we have 5 of us. There was plenty of room for all of us, the property has a great workout room, pool and was very quiet. Close to shopping and resturants. I would stay here again.

Great Overall!

The townhouse/condo was clean overall and that is a must for me! Loved that it did not have a lot of clutter as far as table top decor , fake plants , decorations and etc. ., that meant less dust and less chance of anything breaking or having to move things around. The main sleeper sofa was broken but that could have just been from the prior renters. Hopefully that will get fixed soon. Pool area is very nice and the crowd at the Mariners Club was great! Communication with Fernando was beyond amazing! Our first night there, the remote was not working. I e-mailed Fernando and shortly after, batteries were delivered to our unit. I would definitely rent this unit again ! Hospitality for me is important and that was beyond achieved! Kudos to you Fernando!

Jan 2022: We enjoyed our stay at Mariner's Club and had no complaints. The weather was a little chilly while we were visiting, so the kids were disappointed to find out the large pool is not heated. - they did enjoy the heated pool by the clubhouse though.
